I was scared for a second there when Hanji pops her head out of nowhere in the cell room....

New OP and ED is decent....

Main highlight of this episode is of courses Levi brutality.

Somehow when reading the manga...it has a pretty heavy atmosphere but the anime is somehow a bit lacking in this part.

The art is pretty average or i say below average.....could be saving the budget for Episode 17 onwards where action will pick up.

Didn't watch the episode yet but the OP.
Man, I already loved listening to the song over and over but now seeing it with some footage, it's just beautiful!

My personal favourite part was Armin standing in all that blood and his eyes after that

Dang that atrocious OP...
The visuals is fine, but the song was horrible. And sounded like some country's national anthem or something. But more importantly...
I can't really even hear the guy. The music's volume is too loud compared to the guy's voice.
And an OP is complete only with both song and visuals, so I can't really say I was able to appreciate the visuals with that static in the background.

But hey, at least the episode opener returned to 1 minute!

Good OP and ED. I wasn't expecting them to bring out another OP as good as the first but they did a good job. I also like what they have shown in the OP despite it being a little messy.
Episode overall was enjoyable.

food for thought: If Levi didn't intervene and Eren had been shot, then Eren would have probably regenerated and the MP maybe would have lost the trial because they "violated the court".

It is also interesting to note that the security level of the court is very bad... I mean a guy from the MP side brought a GUN into the courtroom and almost fired it!

That said I really liked this episode! Politics are often well done in anime, but this was really outstanding!

BUT: The OP... they could have used better parts of Jiyuu no Tsubasa... but it is still not as bad as some haters and spoiled "shingeki no askdhashdjiaoshdjshds - gure no yumiya remix"-fanboys/-fangirls say it is. It is actually ok, but as I said "there was room for improvement"

Time constraints, I guess. I know that my preferred version of the cut was as long as 140 seconds, and the version that they made was the only one that fit the time limit and made sense to cut, so I won't take it out on them.

With that said, DAT OP animation. Wow. It's not really messy, it's only extremely rapid and fast paced, much more than any meme parody can handle, haha! I loved every single minor detail in the OP, and watching it more would only make the smaller details seen better, so it will totally grow on me.

Anyways, fantastic episode. Also in my opinion, ED >>> OP. Loved it.
