Looking forward to this. I'm sure they can't end Kogami and Akane's original story due to the status quo but the former had a weird ending in the film.

Psycho-pass has its own sub-thread but it's under the retirement section.

Anyway, here's the new trailer.

The first and third movies took place after the 2014 movie.

Someone already review the first movie of the trilogy which was featured in the Tokyo International Film Festival a few days ago. Be warned that there's some spoilers in this one:

Masaoka's voice actor, Kinryuu Arimoto, passed last February 1. Damn, this is going to be the last time we're going to hear him as old pops. They better put a dedication for him. RIP

No trailer for Masaoka's film? I thought the recording of movie 2 finished.

Also, is Urobuchi involved in the making of any movie?

Case 2 pv

About Urobuchi, it has the same director of the other seasons and film and the assistant writer (Makoto Fukami) to Urobuchi, but himself does not seem involved, but if it has the same quality of the film I will be satisfied.

well, the movie came out in only 87 theaters and lasted 59 minutes, and managed to gain more than 180 million in two weekends. I think this was not bad.

It's disappointing Urobuchi isn't involved. He should at least oversee these movies.

At least we aren't stuck with the writer of S2.

Taking into account the last Godzilla anime, he'd better take a vacation.

Wasn't the Godzilla overseen by Hideaki Anno as he wanted to take a break from Rebuild?

There was no season 2, not sure what you're talking about.

A movie where Masaoka-san is one of the protagonists can not be bad.

I hope he has a better box office than the last movie.

By the way, the manga adaptation of the first movie started serialization. I still haven't read it but the artwork is quite faithful to Akira Amano and Kyoji Asano's works.

The Japanese are quite lucky, there are so many cool anime movies to watch in theaters. Code Gess, City Hunter and now the Psycho Pass case 2 which is being highly praised. It would be money well spent.
