To be fair, Crunchyroll did put up a translation note explaining the mitsu-himitsu connection in the show itself when it first came up. It was just came a bit too early in the flow of the conversation and didn't stay up long enough.

Yuyushiki 07 - The Eyes Have It

Arrows in the ass, other things involving the ass, and eyes. Especially chocolate eyes. This show goes to so many random places, and yet each segment flows into the other with relative ease. Yuzu's just so full of life that's a joy to watch, even if Yui seems to be the central characters. That whole "bean" segment was so skirting on the edge of the radar that I was surprised that was said. Loved the stuff with the gorillas, too. It's the specificity of the jokes that carries them out so well (and the translators. Kudos to these guys so much for making the jokes carry the same spirit.) Yukari continues to get the best lines. "So the sacred arrows were arrows?" I call that going out on a high note.

The bean thing - I was thinking "OK, either I've got a dirty mind, the writers have got a dirty mind, or both of us have, but can they really be alluding to what I think they're alluding to?"

Another good episode, sleepy/tired Yuzuko & Yukari were really cute.

Edit: Wow I'm slow...I just got (or so I think) what they were talking about in regard to Yui's fingers when they brought up the chocolate fountain.

That bean thing kinda shocked me, for them to mention a "--------"(geez i cant even post that word here i think) in this kind of anime seems so out of place........but then again those girls are pretty out there

Yuyushiki 08 - Water, Water Everywhere, So Let's All Have a Drink

This show goes off in the weirdest directions. Though Yuzu's idea for a video game tournament totally makes sense. (Accursed blue shells.) Fumi's an interesting addition to the cast - the three side girls seem to have a relationship all their own. And as the flashbacks to events we never fully encountered show, their story keeps going on offscreen. In some unusual directions - like the cafe full of entirely spicy food. Knowing that Yukari's mom is a drinker is interesting. She's probably not a loose seal, given the genre, but it does give Yukari a foundation for her weirdness. Since she doesn't have much of a foundation for much in her role as club president. And that almost the entire final segment of the show revolved around chests in some way was odd, but enchanting. I think Yuzu may have a thing for older women.

This week also had a Kakifly end card. I approve!
