Reading volume 4 after ep 4, watching ep 5 gave me mixed feelings. The first half felt too draggy, second half went the other way, too fast. It just felt like they're just trying to say everything that needs to be said.

Still, Kaji Yuuki's performance here was rather impressive here imo.

From behind it looks it's a part of the outfit, but I was too busy looking at Yuuma's behind to notice straight away

So, Rias says that Issei is her strongest Pawn...but isn't Issei the only Pawn she has?

Rias sacrificed 8 other pawns just for Issei. Now that is what I call one trustworthy King

I really do love Yuuto and Koneko. They both just stuck with Issei the entire time and they are great characters. Not to mention Koneko has some others perks about her

I've only just noticed now, but poor old Yuuto doesn't have his own part in the opening and ending...wait, what am I saying? The opening and ending consist of mostly revealing things! Gah, my eyes! Forget I said that! Forget I said anything!

Woah, Rias is nice to look at an all, but she is very scary when angry! In the words of Akeno "It seems you picked the wrong person to piss off". I guess people like Mangatron and Eroking will have to be careful around her...

Loved the bit with Akeno just sweeping up the feathered remains of the fallen angels. That was priceless to see, it's just the Demons way of insulting the Fallen Angels

Oh my, I would hate to be Issei right now. Not because of all he has been through, but because he has to choose between Asia and Rias! I could never make that choice!

The action is this was good. I really liked the moments between Issei and Asia when she was laying on the church bench.. Ah well, in the end it all turned out well...until those creepy people looking through that birds eyes showed up...I now have a bad feeling.

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for High School Dungeons x Dragons 05 - The Hand of Ankh, the Voice of the Earth: Not that the show was trying very hard to hide it, but it's nice to see Asia get promoted to Bishop (and therefore full time cast member). The group could use a healer for situations such as these, if the rules of RPGs are anything to go by. I may need to check the credits again - is that Fumihiko Tachiki doing the voice of the Sacred Gear? Because I feel like a Gaia Memory is waiting to be stuck into someone somewhere whenever I hear it. Seeing it finally last long enough in battle to upgrade itself with the claws was nice. Most of all, I'm glad that the last moments of the battle with Yuma were short, and mostly off screen. Sometimes, what's not seen can have more impact than what is seen. And the enemy for the second arc arrives. I don't know if Issei will be able to handle his... er, army. He's proven that there's more to him than boobs, though.
