Well, let's see. The new thing is called Code Geass: Gaiden Boukoku no Akito (『コードギアス GAIDEN 亡国のアキト』 ). Some pictures of the BD so far.



edit: Maybe I put the colon in the wrong place. It's more like "Code Geass Side Story: Akito of the Ruined/Destroyed/some-better-sounding-synomym Country".

Which I believe roughly translates as;

"Akito's sidestory, Rebellion without a country."

edit: No I did a "speed-read" of it. You are correct. It's Code Geass Side Story: Akito of the Desolate (?) nation/country. It's late and my brain isn't working well right now. I think desolate makes the most sense, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

edit-edit : I found a better translation of boukoku at animelab. They've got it as "ruined country."

But doesn't the intro for the new series state that it's in 2017 a.t.b.?

The series will be written by Morita Shigeru and directed by Kazuki Akane.
CLAMP is doing the character designs, and the hook translates like this;

if they do happen to make an OAV make it more than just one episode. Not to ruin the mood here, but shouldn't we be discussing this in the "New Geass Project Launched" thread instead of here?

She is a LOLI. Loli rules the world, so she is certainly the leader of one random country :P
