I'm beginning to see the rise of KyoAni/Key in this year tournament.Hatred issue i believe is no longer valid in this year tournament.I won't be surprised if 4 or more of KyoAni's girls make it to the top 8.

My prediction for the top 8
- Fuuko Ibuki (KyoAni)
- Chiba Kirino
- Kyou/Kagami (KyoAni)
- Tomoyo (KyoAni)
- Chiaki
- Nagisa (KyoAni)
- Tsukasa (KyoAni)
- Hinagiku

Seems like everything was decided to give KyoAni girls an easy way to the top 8.Fanbases and KyoAni hatred rumors can no longer stop them at this rate.Yeah tactical voters are still out there...but its weird actually to me,coz those so-called tactical voting is more like trying to give KyoAni girls an easy way to the top 8..don't you think?

Long story short,KyoAni/Key probably will be able to break their cursed fate of being hate by fans since years ago this year.I may be wrong but that's just how it looks from the way i see it.

Dissapointing when a major loss isn't epic. It means someone wasn't paying attention.

Both choices were easy because while I'll give the opponents high points for funny, their moemeter ratings simply do not measure up.

What fails me is those that feed on despair more than victory. Those that enjoy the suffering of others more than the thrill of their own success.

Went double Clannad. I can't bring myself to vote for Kana even if she is BOSS. And Konata just isn't up to Tomoyo's level of moe. Wife material moe is still moe.

My day is shot for now. I can stand losses of good characters...but for someone who has shown us great performances in both previous and current Saimoes....I'd expect an epic defeat. Fate at least had an epic defeat. Maria had an epic defeat (twice). Kagami had an epic defeat last year. Rena's loss today doesn't seem epic at all.

Were are all those people that voted in Fate vs. Desu or Kagami vs. Rena?

Likely, they stopped to care. Or, with Rozen out of the picture, the "planning" or "tactical voting" doesn't hold as much of a stake as it used to be before. Before Saimoe 2008 started, with Rei running in the tourney, I have expected some drama from one side who would vote for the sake of "It used to be better before", or people who prefers to move on and celebrate the newer kinds of moe. But her performance proved me wrong.

I still think that in the longer run, the mojo of Clannad and L*S girls gonna play against them. Making the race of the other candidates a walk in the park.

Baka and Tomoyo are both behind in early vote counts. I hope them to catch up.

I can somehow bear Tomoyo losing to Konata, but I can't stand Kyou winning.

I already can't anti-vote Noe and Nagisa this round, at least let my anti-voting against Kyou takes her out.
