I will also support Tsukasa today. I don't believe that the final would be a blow-out should she make it. Also, it would sure shut all the whiners up.

one of the determining factors of the next match would be whether or not the Clannad supporters would be butthurt against LS for wiping out all their characters, or whether or not the voters would be going for the rare Applefield feat of two characters from the same show in the final.

I don't think so. Kagami still comfortably beat Nagisa despite her being the last Clannad girl and Kagami and Tsukasa knocking out most of the other strong ones. If anything, revenge votes will play against Kagami in the final, but not so much in Tsukasa Vs Hina.

The last remaining Clannad character goes down. Kagami didn't win as convincingly as her previous matches, but she still manages to dispatch her opponent with ease. Clannad Killer Kagami takes down her third and final Clannad opponent in a row. For the most part the match followed the usual pattern. Kagami takes an early lead and builds on it for the rest of the day. Nagisa had a massive second last hour rush, but it wasn't even close to enough the catch Kagami. Kagami's last hour rush undid the damage Nagisa did anyways. Nagisa managed to outdo Tomoyo and Kyou's performance by quite a bit. I've defintely been underestimating Nagisa's power. She probably is as strong or stronger than Kyou or Tomoyo. It seems she might also be capable of resisting Kagami's anti-Clannad ability. Kagami doesn't quite seem untouchable anymore, but she's still the favorite to win the tournament.

The second and third characters from Group 20 are up today. They were the 2nd and 3rd finishers in the preliminary match. Group 20 was pretty amazing. All three remaining characters are from Group 20. Hinagiku is the last hope of those who wish for a non-Kyoto Animation champion and her battle is uphill the whole way. Her fight against Tsukasa is a trial run for the real battle. Even if it is a trial run, Hinagiku has to fight with 100% of her strength if she hopes to succeed. The Group 20 preliminary match was done at the end of July. It's been 3 months since then but the fact remains that Tsukasa directly outranked Hinagiku. It was only by 64 votes, but it's still an advantage for Tsukasa. It's worth keeping in mind that the preliminary match was before the Lucky star OVa was released. We've also already seen Tsukasa in action against a top tier Hayate No Gotoku character. Tsukasa dispatched Nagi with room to spare. It's unclear if Hinagiku is even at Nagi's level let alone high enough above it to take down Tsukasa. Tsukasa has also outdone Hinagiku against a powerful Aria opponent. Take Raichou's 3.88% and give all of it to Hinagiku. Hinagiku's 55.41% against Alice falls short of Tsukasa's 56.78% against Akari. I'm not too familar with Aria so perhaps the difference in power between Alice and Akari is significant but I don't believe so. It's not all doom and gloom for Hinagiku. The more recent matches are the ones that matter more and Hinagiku's 55.46% on Kirino out does Tsukasa's 53.85% on Fuuko. If you believe Tsukasa is like Kagami and over performs against Clannad, it looks even better for Hinagiku. The preliminary match which Hinaguku got outranked by Tsukasa also featured Kagami. Since you could vote for 9 characters at once, Tsukasa was almost defintely pulled up by Kagami's voters. Also Hinagiku is the last hope of the anti-Kyoto or anti-Lucky Star factions. Voters might abandon Tsukasa to avoid an all Lucky Star final. Kyoto and Lucky star doing too well might draw some backlash against them. Hinagiku will be there to take advantage of it. It's an uphill battle, but it's not impossible for Hinagiku to beat Tsukasa. However if she wishes to take the championship winning isn't enough. While Tsukasa is monsterously powerful, Kagami is even more so. Hinagiku is going to need to impress. She needs to show that someone can stand up to Kyoto Animation and Lucky Star. So far only top tier Kyoto Animation characters have been able to defeat top tier Kyoto Animation characters. Hinagiku's first step is to show that isn't true. With all that said, I still have faith that Tsukasa will come through.
