Redaction of the Golden Witch - Part 2 The Fragment of uncertain origin continues, a tale of October 4th spins to its conclusion with the promises of a new day. But here, this divergent Forgery takes an even stranger turn, and tragedies strike more quickly than expected. The next playlist, in six parts again.

Most sprites are fixed-size, but it is possible to scale them using engine commands. As far as I know, however, scaling in onscripter simply resizes instead of resampling so larger sprites will look pixelated. As for what engine commands those are, you'd have to look them up or ask someone else.
The BMP format seems to be necessary for alpha channels (to create transparency), although I have heard from someone that they work as PNG.

The alpha channel simply comes from the :a; part of the code, BMP or not.
What the BMP needs is the black/white alpha mask. PNGs work with transparency in the actual picture. One way of resizing sprites is the lsp2 command (Ryu used this), although as Renall said it'll look pixelated.

Hey guys, just here to make an announcement: I'm going to be doing an Umineko/Silent Hill crossover fic. Renall has offered to script it if I feel like it though I'm not sure how feasible that actually be so if it ends up just being text, like, oh well.
But hey, new project.

Haha, nice to see someone's eager already.
Just to elaborate on the nature of the crossover, there's not going to be like, SH characters. It's more of a "Silent Hill happens with the Umineko cast" thing, so as to not alienate people who haven't played Silent Hill; no knowledge of that series will be required for reading.

Yeah That's what I thought when you said it. Intresting concept indeed. How much of Umineko cast is going to be in it? (Writing many people can be a pain in the ass.... In Total Seacat Island I have to work with 26 characters lol , Have to be carefull that everyone gets decent amount of screentime, Well the good thing is that every next episode has less characters because of the elimination XD)

The whole human cast will be in it, though some will get more screentime than others, of course. The fic will follow the journeys of several of the major characters.
Most of the 'fantasy' characters won't have any part, or if they do, it wouldn't be as they exist in the main series. Ronove, for instance, could appear as an avatar for Genji's suppressed emotions.
