Not to mention the giant hand.

The giant hand actually reminds me of the Buddha's palm technique that punished the Monkey King, imprisoning him under a mountain .

That's because it's exactly what it's supposed to be.

That copycat ability is very handy.

The coregraphy is not helping Mappa. You are good at this but the storytelling is a mess.

What the heck did I just watch? This show is getting crazier and crazier! The US sends nukes to Seoul? Over what? Because science > supernatural?

^ Expecting this show to make sense is asking too much, just enjoy the fight & WTF-ness.

Though, I still have to say that all the epicness in this episode doesn't really make me feel anything because it stands on a terrible foundation of bad narrative & poor characters. It's still a hollow spectacle.

Why did Jegal's charyeok turn from shark to weird giants? That came out of nowhere. Why was that guy's grandpa from the Six so strong?

Someone needs to teach the writers the meaning of the word "escalation".

Also, nice to see that this follows the [insert favorite group of asians] are the only ones that can get godly powers, meanwhile the rest of the world (especially westerns and especially Americans) are bafflingly stupid and willing to break UN rules and nuke an ally nation because... reasons, I guess.

The end of the world is a pretty good thing to prevent by nuking the source of the problem out of existence. Too bad it won't work against deities.

Pure speculation but it looks like Jegal got those giants from the main villain, while he got the shark "naturally" like everyone else. He had to keep the giants hidden since it would've tipped the organizers about his connection to the cult I guess.

As for the grandpa, he unleashed all his powers to defeat that golden buddha thing, and probably died right after the fight. I imagine anybody else couldn't go all out like that.

Throwing a dozen nukes kind of defeats the purpose, the ensuing nuclear winter will just end up killing the world either way. Also, how the hell are Jin and the others standing in the middle of the blast zone and NOT immediately dying from nuclear radiation? Did the slow ass healing nanites all of a sudden get conveniently more powerful and heal them instantly?

With Jegal, that hasn't been explained yet in the anime. However, they did set it up.

The pacing keeps being too fast. Mori lost the key in five minutes after receiving it. The poor fox guy got from an epic weird to getting his ass kicked especially when he was already wounded and his friends are nearly dead

The fight between Jegal and Mori was absolutely amazing. It was the best fight I've seen all year, I can't think of anything that comes close.

The plot was... the usual.

Fight good, plot confusing. Mori is the reincarnation of Wukong like Yugioh's alterego or something? Or mayber he is the actually Wukong from another dimension?

Reincarnation, since he can vaguely remember his past now.

I thought it was lame they didn't give him any monkey features. At least give him a tail.

Why make it obvious for those who would kill him?
