That's what I thought at first, but then I noticed that on the Ougon CROSS site, it says "New Arcade Story Added!"

I don't know if this is a story for characters with Lambda as the final boss, or a story with Lambda, but there is at least one new story.

Japanese do not state singular or plural regarding words in general (for example, if you see 猫があります without anything in the context to hint the number, it can mean 1 or even hundred of cats).
Therefore, it may be one or several stories for the arcade mode.

Anyone figured out what is UltraPAR from the PV?
and why does her move set make me think of Ibuki Suika and Kirisame Marisa?

Ultra PER basically clear completely your break gauge. Nothing groundbreaking at first, but can definitely leads to iron defense team, like Lambda/Battler, Lambda/Shannon, Lambda/Dlanor.

And if you can pull decent normal touch in a regular fight, turtling is definitely a viable strategy with Lambda's ability.

Lambda Shannon seems like a rather solid team with annoying object all around the screen. Bombs, Mirrors, seagulls, dishes. It's just too much stuff around to dodge or hit.

Lambda looks like an interesting character... I can't say much yet though. Her blackhole special looks kinda out of place compared to the rest of her moveset, lol.

or fighting games in general, she is projectile heavy so having stuff that can cancel projectiles and or affect p2 position is normal.

And I think you've completely misread what I said. I said : compared to the rest of her moveset. I have read EP8 and I know the black hole is canon, but that doesn't change the fact that it's pretty much completely different than say, candies and hearts.

ok, point conceded, but it's still kinda weak as it was one of her most memorable moves from ep08 and it fits her moveset nicely.

Gotta keep balancing in mind, if they kept everything as canon without considering balance, then some characters would be way too good and some would be way too bad.

Alright, so I got the original game.
Then I went to the wiki to manually patch 2.10 and 11
However Gamemain.exe causes a crash, and I manually patched the files to the correct folder but I'm still having problems.
My system is set to japanese locale as well.
