Anyway, I'm very curious about the soundtrack. Although Katou is not as well known as Kawai or Kajiura, he is definitely a great composer.

Puni Puni Poemi and the version of Sasami seen in Pretty Sammy were like 10 as well, but they are parodies of the genre.

I don't even know why you are arguing this point, as the manga makes it pretty clear at several points that Illya (and Shirou) are younger in F/KL than they were in F/SN. The fact that Shirou looks as young as he does in F/KL should be a big hint, as Illya looks the same (due to reasons).

No, they aren't younger (Illya at least from time perspective). What I wanted to say is that basic setting is the same. What I said above is related to this.
Basically, Shirou is more or less same. He still goes to high school as in F/SN and also was adopted by Kiritsugu ten years ago (although there is not clear why). Illya she goes to elementary school, because of the reasons I said above, she is a normal girl here.

Not sure if I should watch this. Big Nasuverse fan and Ilya is one of my favorite characters in FSN.

But I hate the fucking spin-offs like Fate/Anything not Stay, Ataraxia, or Zero.

Don't worry about it. F/KL works even as stand-alone series. If you like Illya and mahou shoujo, you'll like it.

Have been waiting for the series for a very long time

The art though... is a bit meh, maybe because I am used to seeing ufotable's animations for TYPE/Moon anime, where they also make the main Fate/ Series, but ufotable's way of animation doesn't fit Illya somewhat, so I guess it's fine.

OP and ED is awesome too. I hope this series will be animated till the end, as in it can do first season first for this year, then after animate Zwei in another time then Drei in the future.
