This kind of game fits way better a handheld console, especially if you want to play spontaneously. Also, it is way less awkward to perform scratch notes with the screen/vita stick than using the ones on the PS3 pad.
And you don't have to deal with possible lag, depending of your TV screen.

Definitely nice to see different types of games coming over here more.
And now, with subtitles as an option, as pointed out here.

Oh, and leave us not forget this other bit of news...

That's certainly a good move. While the game would be fun regardless, being able to read the lyrics along with it is a good touch. Another game I'm looking forward to getting on my Vita eventually.

Kind of old reply but I second this. The PD games are tailored for handheld and just feels right over when I got PDf for PS3. I usually prefer my games on console, too but the definitive experience is on Vita.

So can someone tell me what the folks at SEGA have been on and how can we get Square Enix, Bandai Namco and Konami in on that stuff? Apparently Project Diva F 2nd will allow you to convert a save from the Japanese version over to the EU version.

Quote:
We have one last feature we have not yet revealed: Japanese save data importing. This is a special feature to all you fans who not only import the Japanese version, but then turn around and buy our English version to support our efforts. Using this feature, the English version of Project DIVA F 2nd will read the Cross-Save data from the Japanese version, and merge that progress with your English process. It even works across platforms, so if you have a Japanese PlayStation 3 version, you can still import into your English PlayStation Vita version! Note though that this is a one-time, one-direction feature.

Sega has been doing everything right. I wasn't going to buy the game right away but now I'm thinking of jumping right in just to support how SEGA is treating us and hope that some of it spills over to Atlus
