lol. That was another funny episode. The one-sided conversation by Assassin was very amusing. The music that was playing when they were falling just brought tears to my eyes. Ah~ That scene made me laugh so much for some reason. XD

I think they were making Assassin out to be a stereotypical trucker who personifies his ride much like sailors sometimes refer to their ships with female pronouns.

it is me or doe sit seem like TM never outgrew its doujin roots. They seem to prefer releasing parodies of their own work then original material.

It could be that since Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime being so popular. It's just best to release parodies to keep them going instead of leaving them to dry in the past? Or maybe something else?

When you have your own Universe, you tend to want to play only in it, as a writer. When you have something that sells well, you are encouraged to make more of it, rather than try something different. Though Type-Moon does sometimes write other things...such as what became Cannan.

If I remember right the temple is a source of mana (Since souichrio doesn't have any) and she uses it to summon Assassin hence his love of the temple.

It wasn't really stated afaik, but it may be that it allows him to remain anoymous after completing his first and only hit, since buying his apartment would leave a lot more records than staying in a temple, and maybe also because it provides free (or cheap) lodging and food

.

IIRC, it was Souichirou who brought Medea to the temple, so he was living there long before the 5th Grail War started.
