I hope they wont. Better spare the money to get the 3rd season animated.

What if someone did a retelling of SR, like Dragonball Kai or Negima!? Neo? Nothing would change about the story, it just becomes straightforward and while not losing the humor it had.

Retelling of SR?

No i dont think so.

Looks more like, he's promoting his own series in one of his other ones, see NNA -> SR relations.

At least we got to see Harima and Tenma out on a date in NNA.

And I'm happy no NNA character ever appeared in SR. I don't mind SR characters branching out, but don't want SR itself spoiled by the addition of characters from other series.

They also had a date in the SR series, btw. At least, it was a date or Harima. Tenma was just shopping with a buddy.

Has anyone been keeping up with NNA? I heard it's going to end soon, so I want to know if any major developments have occurred.

Whoa really? Any idea if they're gonna make a third season? (Damn that sounds familiar...)

I always kinda liked the show, but it can get hard to follow with the breaks in between seasons. Unlike SR which I've watched multitudes of times, I've only ever watched NNA once.

Agh! ANN I always forget...Oh yeah one reason why I don't go to that site often is because of bad reviews.

Anyways this is what we're waiting for.

Del Rey published the omnibus version of the 14, 15, and 16th volumes of Kobayashi's School Rumble manga last month. Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine indicated in February that Kobayashi is planning a new series in that magazine, but has not revealed its title or launch date

Waiting for info how good the end of NNA is

Only watched the first season - din't really captivate me. And I don't want to get invested in something that he just drops again half hearted because of a new project again.

Looking forward to the reviews in september~

Why? Anime is produced by entirely different people, so miraculous production of NnA S3 would not hinder anything School Rumble at all? Why must you hate the wonderful series so relentlessly? God damn you people.

Natsu no Arashi! had a set plot goal right away, as well as limited time span (late July - early August). According to my sources, ending was also made quite solid and not just by dropping things somewhere mid way (like anime did).

I can't really tell you much because no one scans NnA! from magazines and I have to wait until tankoubons get released to read them. But from readers responses (2ch) it seems to end well. As much as
Spoiler for ...:
can be considered well.

No one is going to fund it. A good idea would be to wait until compiled volume #8 will be released (November, probably). If S3 is to be ever announced, it's with that last volume.

@yakumo, I bet he starts on that action series now ... Hanokowa action or something?
I doubt there will be anything SR anytime soon.

@daniel, well would be good, but really his reputation to me got a big scratch when he practically cut down SR, the thing that made him famous to begin with. So of course I remain sceptical.
Also SR had a set time frame as well: One school year. Until Karasuma flies off. We know how that went.

And you can't say how the end is yet :3 Course NNA is plot driven and not character / comedy driven like SR, so it would be a big crime to give it a half assed ending. But he already did that once. After a big ass built up, too.

I understand if you (as an NNA fan) are frustrated by the lack of enthusiasm here, but you can't really blame us. You are expected to only find die hard SR fans here after such a long time after the conclusion And we had our fill of disappointment with KJ

I personally felt that NNA was a let down. I don't find the story nor the characters that captivating. I only read the beginning of the manga, but I saw the whole first season, that should be enough as an impression. I actually looked forward to it when it started xD

I'm willing to check it out sometime again - depending on the reviews it gets after it's finished. That's my right as an scarred SR fan All the power to KJ if he does a good end, though.
