but think about if miyata were to lose, it would be another 30 volumes before a potential ippo v miyata rematch where as a win would make the rematch a more plausible reality in the near future.

^^no way. not just takamura, the whole reason the manga is as good as it is, is because all the characters together create more moments. true that takamura is one of the best but, if the manga was centrd around him and his character it would not be as good as it is now. he's the side character that everyone loves.

can't wait till the next chapter. it does look very good.

This has probably been one of my least favorite fights in the series. I dunno, I just expected more after all the hype surrounding Randy, but he didn't even do much of anything the entire fight. We need the next Takamura battle!

we need him taking a belt not defending it though.his world belt fights have being great fights .

and i would like to see aoki develope a new move since that will guarantee laughs.

a great fight and a great laugh are what make this series enjoyable .

The next fight that have been announced is most likely Itagaki's Class-A tournament carnival fight.
This could be a pre-show for Ippo's Asian champion fight which could become the last fight to gain necessary world ranking to step up to the world stage in which case Ippo will relinquish his national champion belt.

he has yet to bring an interesting fight.

maybe that will change in the tournament

I hate it when authors resort to miracle plot gags like "I see the light!" Filipino boxers are tougher than that, light and magic and all.

Anyways back into topic. If that "BOLT" (thunder Jolt) counter had power KO RBJ it's the SHIT, but if remains standing and still fighting that's a good sign. No raws yet btw only spoilers.

The Gedo match was another, since that guy is an ass and Ippo is gay for Miyata the REAL PAIRING in HNI IppoxMiyata from the start lol, but seriously RBJ has the readers side, though in the manga Miyata's cheered by the fans. Morikawa is losing it...
