So after reading the scan, it would seem that Kenichi took the win even though Tanaka was position in hitting a fatal blow. Interesting to see that the Elder taught one of his 108 special techniques to two martial artist. One being Tanaka's father in law and the other being Ogata. Interesting to hear that the Elder would have considered Tanaka's father in law to be an ally against YAMI had it not been for an illness.

I also enjoyed the interaction between Kenichi and Tanaka on having the similar problem of being in love with the master's daughter. I enjoyed the master's jealousy on having Kenichi listening to other's advices besides their own.

That's because it only got that close because Kenichi didn't follow through with his own attack.

So the question to ask for this series is what is next? Kenichi still has to deal with the remaining YOMI members while Ryozanpaku now has to deal with both the united arm and unarmed divisions of YAMI and the "Eternal Sunset" plan. I am hoping the the upcomming arc deals with Ogata since there has been more emphasis with flashbacks on him in the past chapters.

Now I understand Elder´s reaction at that time

He was angry, seeing his own move ^^

But it implies, that Ryusui Seikuuken is not invented by Hayato Furinji.

But good chapter. I too hope, that the next arc is about Ogata.

This chapter left me wondering whether one of the masters is going to die, so Kenichi will have avenging feelings.

The Elder dying would not only affect Kenichi in that way but also Miu and she already has lost her parents, so I'd think on Sakaki dying best (not that I want him to die).

Not necessarily. Tanaka acknowledged his complete moral defeat. But it's unsure whether Kenichi really got there first.

With the super hax mode Kenichi had on, I wouldn't doubt it. A lunging finger strike isn't exactly accurate.

Tanaka was also in "super hax" mode.

More than that, I doubt a punch from Kenichi could actually send Tanaka "flying" like you said. Even if it were a blow exchange, Kenichi would lose out because the move Tanaka used was much more fatal. If Kenichi had had the control of the situation, he should have countered or blocked that hit, instead of trading attacks. He seemed rather desperate to me.

Of course Kenichi was desperate, he was fighting an opponent higher class then himself.

Kenichi's hit would have likely badly injured Tanaka, since he was jumping INTO Kenichi's hit, making it a counter-attack using Tanaka's own momentum against him in addition to Kenichi's own strength.

Raw scans for HSDK 372 are out. Change of scenery, seems like a new arc is beginning, I'm glad that the story is taken to the Shinpaku Alliance and the Masters are put at the sidelines for the time being. Poor Ukita he is in dire need of some hellish training.

Wow, I'm glad I wasn't the only one getting that vibe. The way he did it was just straight up badass.

You mean fatass. Thor is like Valkyrie boss now, isn't he?

Though anyone also feels that this kidnapping development is kinda pulled out of nowhere like me?
