ANN also put up a subtitled version, it almost sounds like the production company asked them to sub and host it and I can't remember the last time that happened.

Interesting. That pretty much guarantees a simulcast I guess.

Could still be CR, especially since ANN only messed around with simulcasts once, it's too early to start speculating about whose going to pick up spring shows though.

Yeah, I don't think ANN streaming the trailer with English subtitles indicates that they're also simulcasting the show. It's more of a sign that Japanese companies recognize that ANN is a big English anime news outlet. But it definitely does indicate that the production committee in this case is very interested in the English speaking fanbase, especially since the Japanese trailer is region-locked on Bandai Channel. So it's definitely a sign that a simulcast is on the cards.

So the company which is funding this anime is most likely bandai?

This show reminds me of Last Exile but with a BONES flair (Eureka Seven, Xam'd, FMA etc).

That would be nice if they simulcast this. Either way, I look forward to seeing this whether officially subbed or fansubbed.

You know, if you move Red's mouth up just a bit, he'd look like the kuudere of the series.

Continue to expect a lot more direct marketing of this show to western audiences.

From the person who subbed the trailer on ANN at the moment.

Preview screens from episode 1: http://tokyo-anime-news.jp/?p=5283

Seems awfully early for a show which only starts in Spring!

Those screens were all published in the fanbook that was sold at Comiket 83 a few weeks ago.

Ah, I see. I wonder why they're "marketing" this so early. Maybe Bandai is getting sick of their original shows not achieving the same level of success as Aniplex stuff lately, and stepping it up?

Why is Bandai caring about the western market especially when they dropped all anime distribution and what not in the United States?
