fantasy/sci fi fantasy joints with good art

like i was checkin out a couple eps of eureka 7 today and i was really impressed by the style of the show. i love like the 'world' presented, like how it's drawn and whatever. i've seen a few fantasy anime but i wasn't really even so impressed by how nicely they were designed. like scrapped princess' world looks sort of dull, naruto seems to use a lot of cheap cost cutting design strategy, etc. so i'm lookin for some fantastic world stuff that's drawn well and also with particular emphasis to more i dunno... less 'dark' looking ones. i mean i've seen a lot of really good looking super distopic worlds like in ergo proxy but eureka 7 has a nice, rpg-looking feel to it, i'm more interested in that sort of feel.

Code Geass is currently running and it reminds me a lot of Eureka seveN, but maybe thats just because the OPs are by the same band. Last Exile has some amazing animation and a good fantasy storyline. Thats all I can think of right now, I'm sure I've seen others, I'll post again if I remember anymore

Try Juuni Kokki (The Twelve Kingdoms), if you want fantasy with a lot of bright colours (but still with a serious approach to the storytelling) and also a great plot and characters.

Or Simoun, if you want the same things in sci-fi setting.
