Yeah!Read it, but here's some tips for you. Skip it till Anti thesis arc for season one and never, I mean NEVER! watch the anime, it's a total mess, just a bunch panty showing and a bat sensor. I regretted to download it's anime, just a waste of Bandwith. If you love it (may be sometimes in the future), please buy Hardcopy version to support this Manga to come more.

Don't all the way to Anti-thesis... sure, that's where it really gets awesome, but you need to go through the other 20 something chapters first

Though the first 8 chapters will be a bit on the boring side since they're "monster of the week with one person taking care of them all", but after that, it gets A LOT better (though there are still a couple of slow parts after that... but trust me, you won't regret it)

Why?
I liked anime a lot maybe because I didn't read manga first.
As for plot, character development it's pure shit , though for pantsu shots and ecchi it's superbe.
I watched all the episodes (uncensored) and I don't regret it.
R+V anime is undoubtely better then some many ecchi animes, imho.
I just can't stand loli ecchi.

I need a few Opinions on something.

Which would be more cooler. a Actual 100% Male Vampire? or a Human givin the blood of a Vampire, Moka's dad to be exact.

actually its a bad idea to skip the chapters before hand. You need to read the first chapters to see how Tsukune got the vampire blood in the first place.

Just like me. I liked the anime and when people complained it's not manga base, I've gone to the manga and saw awesomeness!

No wonder they turned Yukari into an adult in one episode.

I love loli. Yukari though isn't hugely appealing for a loli though.

I've really gotten into R+V myself! I think it's great, seeing as I don't read shonen manga very often!

In fact, I pushed the boat out & bought myself all 7 latest volumes of this series online today!

Volumes 8, 9 & the final 10th volume will also be out in a few months time aswell

I suppose the anime is appealing... in its own kind of way.

In any case it's directing attention to the original source, which is always a good thing.

It was really good when I first read it in Shonen Jump. That's when I liked Vampires... Now it is still good but I don't like vampires.... That's how good the story is.

Well, it's hard not to like the vampires in R+V Of course, a vampire being able to consume something other than blood (tomato juice), can be out in the sun for long periods of time (in various swimsuits no less), and being generally non 'undead' does help.

In other words, the vampires of R+V aren't emo's

That is a major bonus, yes. I really don't want to imagine an emo-Moka.

problem is, we have sort of had an emo vampire at points, in the form of Tsukune... though I guess that's questionable, since he's not exactly a full vampire

although the thing I find interesting still is the weaknesses of vampires- they can't be touched by sunlight, but are weak to water... being a fan of Underworld, where it's the opposite, I find it rather strange. But hey, if it means we can get Moka in a swimsuit, I'm not gonna complain too loudly

The day Tsukune grows long bangs, wear all black and brood about how lonely and sad it is to be a vampire is the day I go to Ikeda's house and shoot him.

R+V vampires are much more like orginal ones. Moka strenghts and weakness are simmilar to those of Dracula (Bram Stoker orginal version). For Dracula sunlight wasn't lethal, just unconfortable.
