So, a director renowned for his work in SoL, including the biggest of them all, is in charge of a series written by the undisputed queen of teenage melodrama, and there's mechs somewhere in the mix.

That's gonna be interesting

Hopefully in an anohana way of interesting that the fractale way.

I read "ensemble drama" and "On the night of falling stars, they … heard that song…." in that article. We're not talking about a singing group of mech pilots are we? Not that I'd be totally against the idea, since I've been wanting to see Symphogear for some time now (except it seems to fit more), but if so then it sounds a bit weird and unusual from what I've seen until now. That said, I like how there seems to be a large main cast similar to Angel Beats (a little less though), Baccano!, and Durarara!!, but I'd really have to see a bit more especially since I'm vaguely familiar with anything that has to do with Macross as well.

Boy, there're quite a number of mech shows coming next season.

Just watched the first episode. Pretty disappointing. The MC is boring and uninteresting, and the other characters are pretty much irrelevant. Ah, and the girl who is lusting after the MC is annoying as fuck.

I might give it one more episode but I doubt I'll keep watching. It's just not worth it.
