And a steel wall it is. I managed to march along the 1/2 line on Prokhorovka because my team didn't have any scouts. I may have landed maybe one or two shots the whole time.. I got cool-headed and eventually died when I got to the end into their nest of sniping campers..

Yeah.. 26 hits later with around ~11k damage received!

Well, yes... being a steel wall is really the entire purpose of the E-75 (which is why I see moans about its low-pen top gun missing the point, really). I'm sure a few of you here still remember me going "Let me take point!" on the rare occasions I platooned with you, precisely for that reason. >_>

Quite. Its an important thing to learn ESPECIALLY on the autoloaders, as a lot of the time an autoloader with 2 rounds left in the mag won't be able to do anything.

So, we have x3, which increases the retard factor in teams again. I'm seriously tempted to just go seal clubbing during the weekend at this rate.

I find it amusing, really.

Earlier tiers give you auto-cannons... they operate on the same principle

When you have the time to do so safely, ALWAYS reload your clip. It sucks being stuck with only one shell left between a good vantage point and a >20 second reload.

Ah you, we need to platoon our high tiers Leo!

Testing the E-75 several times again last night. I have to say, if they ever make this cat Tier 10, it'd be very CW viable. It is sad, but no German heavies are competitive in CW, and WG knows this.

E-100 is good on city map, I saw elite clan use them there.

You might be right on this. I did not take into consideration the ridiculous amount of gold rounds we will spend on an average clan battle.

*Sigh* This will put some strain on our clan economy, as we are not collectively rich.

Yeah, but can you drive a Type 97 onto the roof to block its turret?

You know, now that you mentioned it, it IS theoretically possible. Except if you are going to bring a Type 97 into a CW... ...

But you can probably only block its vision, not rotation.

The game play in Word of Tank will change a lot if the turret rotation can be blocked. (with buiding, park a tank on its way, etc.)

Why don't they add this physic to the game? Too annoying?

Truth be told, I am more afraid of meeting an English or American turret-less TD in a city than E-100s.

I can reliably pen the E-100 in designated spots, but you can never pen high tier British or US TDs from the front. Its even more frightening if the team knows what its doing, providing good cover for what could be vital areas of the TDs.

I both agree and disagree. In any forward mounted or turret-less vehicle you can't sidescrape. I don't know the math but that's significant armor potential right there. In an E-75, properly sidescraped, I was deflecting shots from a T110E3. I couldn't advance onto him and he couldn't penetrate me from far away so he had to try to advance ..

And when he did try to turn the corner, I loaded APCR and took out his tracks absorbed one hit from him and got beside him and wasted him. With gold or HE rounds on an E-100, I'm sure I could have indefinitely tracked + did damage to him while he was completely impotent..

That said, land arty will always be a problem to vehicles that rely on armor in particular with gold rounds. Prevalence of gold rounds means you can't rely on armor as much..

I imagine, in Clan Wars, said TDs and other heavier vehicles will probably hold strategic position than trying to advance for the kill.

Public matches is one thing, Clan Wars, if my observations had been correct, is a totally different animal.

^ .. Yeah, but no one uses turretless TDs in clan wars either..

T110E5, T-62A, Batchats, Arty, E-100 (situational) .. and that's it folks!

Hmm, last time I checked, the IS-7 is still quite viable. Although it does lag behind the T110E5 in terms of popularity.
