Hopefully split cour means the series will be better paced. I enjoyed the first season, but the lack of explanations about important plot points was a huge flaw. The main draw is of course Anos-sama dabbing on everyone, but this series actually has a pretty good plot.

I was hoping for a second season of this, thought the first season had turned out pretty decent, relieved its been confirmed now. Surprised by the news that it'll be a split cour, though I don't mind, particularly if they can then manage the pacing better.

Was surprised by the split cour announcement. This could be pretty darn good if they are giving it that much time to work with. Honestly the end of the first 'arc' really did cement this show as a pretty solid one for me. So happy to see more of it.

It'll be weird hearing a new voice even if there are probably other seiyuu who can pull it off. I wonder if they'll also do their own version of the Opening like Suzuki did...

It should be fine. Anos is not a difficult role to voice. If they can recast Char Aznable & Pegasus Seiya, this should be a walk in the park.

what kind of situation did that seiyuu get into? I usually ignore this news but I'm kinda disappointed for a change of seiyuu.

Basically he cheated on his wife (pop star LiSa) and the public scandal caused him to basically retreat from the public view and drop all his current, active, roles.

Is Suzuki the one stepping down from those roles or did they fire him?

This whole thing proves that not just females can be victims in this industry. Cheating on your wife is a very bad thing to do, but it's not a crime. Harrassing him about it so much he attempted suicide is just... there are no words. I guess the fact the woman he cheated on is the super popular LiSA didn't exactly help his case. If his wife had been a nobody, there wouldn't have been such a scandal.

According to the ANN article he stepped down from this role himself. But we'll never know the truth.
