Anyone who listened to the 3 tracks featured in Kujira? Kujira is the CD released by Buzy just - well, just TODAY if I"m not wrong, which contains the TWin Spica OP, Venus Say.

Now if you listened... something's a bit unusual here (I think it's unusual, I dunno) - Kujira and Venus Say have the EXACT SAME TUNE AND MUSIC. The only difference is the lyrics, and the length (with the accompanying instrumentation for the bridges that are not in Venus Say.)

Which came first? Kujira or Venus Say? I have a feeling it was Kujira... it's full-length, unlike Venus Say, which is basically the entire TV cut with a little bit at the end. I suppose Kujira's tune appealed greatly to whoever chose the OP and decided to ask for a version with more related lyrics or something?

Whatever it is, I always loved the Twin Spica OP and I still do. Woot.

I don't know what to say about the 3rd song Cosmos no Saku Goro Ni. It seems nice but I think I have to listen more attentively next time.

Openings (TV versions) are usually about half shorter than full versions, but totally different lyrics was suprising. I love Twin Spica opening but I have to say that I like Kujira even more.

I don't know which came first but I agree, probably the full version was first and they did a new version for the opening.

My bet is that we will hear Kujira during ending credits of the last episode (#20) in anime, but that is just my quess...

Kujira rocks. I'd have to say I prefer it since its longer than Venus Say.

Kujira was likely first, and Venus Say was likely produced to better fit the anime's mood.

CD Japan does state that Kujira's lyrics were written by the guitarist of Porno Graffiti...

Kujira is definitely interesting. I think I mainly like it because it is langer than Venus Say. To me Kujira will be a remix of sorts. I'm so happy that the songs came out at last. Yay! I haven't listened to Cosmos no Saku Goro Ni as of yet, though I'm sure I'll like it. Happy happy day ^.^
