Props to Narona for making an original and fun thread.
For me, I think it's got to be Sylvester Stallone. Rambo and Rocky are pretty fond memories of mine, and it's just pure manliness all the way through. Arnold is another strong contender, but I've seen too many bad comedies with him to take him seriously anymore. Terminator alone makes him a formidable man, though. One man that really needs to be on this list is Samuel L Jackson, though. He's badassery incarnate.

Well, as I see it, "making bad comedies" is a +. I mean, sometimes it was so ridiculous that it became good :P I like the Terminator Movies though About Sylvester, he's awesome in his own way XD I remember that I watched a documentary about him. IIRC, he was supposed to be the main actor of the movie ": Beverly Hills Cop", but he then asked to remove all the comedy parts. And he also wanted more explosions XD Then they finally chose another actor |

I agree, i guess people are voting their most favorite action actor rather than the manliest. On other hand Chuck Norris's manliness resides more on the internet meme than on the actor himself.

Chuck Norris is not manly. Everything he does is choreographed stunts. The only reason hes here is because of the redneck jokes about him.
Jackie Chan is a real life martial artist, well into his 40s. Just go back and see his classics like Drunken Boxing and not Rush Hour 3. Bruce Lee was even more epic, but hes not on this. |

There is also the fun factor. For example, many JCVD movies are so much full of fail that it becomes awesome and fun |

No Guitar Wolf? Instant Fail.
I'd vote Bruce Campbell if the option was available. Or Bruce Lee. And if animated was allowed, Brock Samson. Oh and are we forgetting Tony Jaa?

Just take that Bruce Lee is already in God Tier, so the 2nd tier, Manly Tier is for these men.
Anyway I chose Jackie Chan, mostly because I grew up watching his shows, I've probably seen every single movie which he starred as the male lead. He does his own stunts, defied death countless times, that is more manly than any Hollywood action star that needs stunt doubles.

For this (and since Bruce Lee is off the list) I had to vote for Sylvester Stallone. I mean, c'mon, the guy was both Rambo and Rocky. Not to mention he starred in one of the cheesiest guilty pleasures of my young boy's life, Cobra. "You're the disease. I'm the cure" was just made of win.
