Basically last week's episode preview already sums today's episode into one single name - Kotoha.Being a half demon and half human,she became the target of Enjin's subordinate Shinozuka,whom trying to lure her into the dark side and make her forget about her human side by saying that he and Kotoha are basically sharing the same fate,being chosen to become a demon.

Shinozuka is pretty tough too with his godspeed movements,easily evading Kotoha's machine'n'pistol,and many other moves.Even Hime herself couldn't match his speed when battling 1v1 with him.

Snapped Kotoha is a serious business.Don't try to mess with her...








And nothing that could match Shinozuka's speed






Not even grenades attack






Nor storm flying axe attack





Well of course...an anti-aircraft cannon won't do any good to him.






However Ao's sensing speed surpassing Shinozuka's speed....








Miyuki Sawashiro did well in CVing Kotoha for today's episode.Although i felt like there's still few spots on it that she could actually do better,but overall,it still good.

Also no nun for today....


Today's episode special - a mini comical scenes which featured Kotoha,Ao and Akina on it.



First one was about Kotoha uses her kotodama ability to trick Ao into thinking that she was working hard.



2nd was about her tiredness after non-stop repeating the trigger "dadadadadadada" for her machine'n'pistol.



3rd one was about her unconciously using her kotodama to make all the things that she trying to memorize from her history book appear.

The most important part of Episode 5 was the return of the Tsundere song. And Hime correcting the children for mis-singing it!

Heh, episode 5 was entertaining, I loved the Chopin clip they added in the song, Nocturne Eb Major Opus Nine!

I only wished they made the finger animations fit with it, but I guess that's just me being picky about it XD

Very good ep. The action has gotten better this ep, plus more character development.

Best ep of the series for me so far. Loved the mini-comic at the end, and Kotoha's English expletive was quite a jolt as well as being hilarious.

it was best bit of the ep, totally caught me off

this ep showcased why I just love Kotoha, shes crazy but in a cool lovable crazy way

next just need to see her warp in a Tiger tank and we're all good here!

Yeah some good fights and laughs to go along with that development. Nice to show Kotoha's past and how things got out of control back then. Still I think Hime had it coming destroying the ticket. Besides what's a few shots of heavy artillery between friends ?

According to volume 1's character design sheet for Kotoha, the little known fact about her is that she "likes girls". (Del Rey translation.) That's not the same as outright stating Kotoha is a lesbian, but I think we can interpret it that way.

Furthermore ...

In volume 2, the little known fact about Yae is that she "is straightforwardly after Kotoha". Although I don't think Kotoha is aware of that as of volume 2.

Unless it becomes a plot point in a story arc, I doubt that they will. It hasn't been included as a plot point in the 2 volumes I've read. It might come into the story in volumes 3 - 5, but I wouldn't know because I haven't read them yet.

Funny thing is, she was disappointed when the guy she was being shoved off to rejected her after saying that she likes girls. Then again, she was drunk at the time so whatever.

All in all, her liking girls has not made an impact yet in terms of actual main plot.
