I really wasn't happy with the lack of material being covered this episode. And according to the preview for the next episode, it looks like little will be again.
They cut out good stuff like the Xing vs Homunculi round 1 and we get filler stuff like Hohenheim lolrecap, or this episode, has Scar being chased by police like three times. It is slightly annoying. |

On a side note, they made anime Selim 10 times as adorable as manga Selim, imo. Now I really adore the kid.

It was alright, kinda pointless showing Scar and Yoki being chased multiple times. Selim was so cute and I laughed just as hard as I did when I read the manga when he was talking about Ed's height. Armstrong's huge head appearing over the bookshelves was hilarious, exactly like in the manga, that part was so funny.
Gotta say, my favorite part of the whole episode was the preview for next week! Briggs! Buccaneer! Can't wait!

Decent episode, but the needless and dumb filler scenes resulted in a very slow pace which was rather disappointing.
I'm curious to see the Bradley filler with subs though, looked like an interesting enough scene. Needless to say this was my favorite part of the episode. Can't wait to see more of them next week. |

Pretty good episode. Nice way to set things up for the next arc too.
I have to say, I got pretty pissed off when I saw Hawkeye with Bradley. I sure do hope he pays for that. I hate when you see the girl with another guy. And Ed makes way too many expressions, like when he was at Bradley's house. Mrs. Bradley must have thought he was constipated or something.

Ehh as a anime watcher turned manga reader and rewatched the same scenes in the anime, I really can't find any faults with the current ep... pretty good pacing imo. Like mentioned maybe a bit too much "scar is being chased" scene. I think it wont be too far-fetched to just have the police track him and send Kimblee there without a long-winded explanation, and we would get a better cliffhanger too.
Either way Scar vs kimblee is next ep... Did they add in that panda cat scene? I dont remember that being in the manga  |

Slow paced ep, but was still good. Dunno if they skipped a lot of background stuff but story wise it seems to be holding up quite well with all the other episodes. Some reason I really enjoyed the scenes with Kimblee, this stalker bad cop thing he has going is more interesting then his just plain old craziness. The scene with at the Fuhrer's house was pretty cool. Looking forward to next week that's for sure.

Yep. Everyone has something to contribute to the story. Minor character don't just exist for the sake of supporting the main characters. That's one of the reasons why FMA is awesome, and why people say the first series really ruins the characters.

This was undoubtably the worst episode of the series yet. It's like... nothing happened. It was the first episode I felt like asking "Is this over yet?" Maybe it's because I'm sick and wanted to go to bed, but it just felt... poor. So, I'll vote it poor.
