[3DS] Project Cross Zone
Just today was announced probably one of the most interesting crossovers yet. Apparently Capcom, Bandai Namco and SEGA are teaming up to create a title for the Nintendo 3DS with characters from their respective IP's.
Find it hard to believe? Well here's the teaser site right here: http://pxz.channel.or.jp/ Virtually nothing has been revealed about it other than it will be released under the Banpresto label, but with three major Japanese game development companies teaming up for this one, it's really intriguing to think just what they could they be cooking up. Could it be a sequel to Namco X Capcom with the addition of SEGA's IP's? All one can really do is speculate at this point. I'm crossing my fingers for a fighting game. But since it's on 3DS I highly doubt it.

Seems like you guys didn't play Namco X Capcom, it was a pretty good turn based strategy, the only thing being battles get stretched too long. It had really interesting character interactions and battle system which started well but got repetitive. It is the spiritual predecessor of Cross Edge.
I can see this game as another line of such cross over turn based strategies like Namco X Capcom, which were inspired by SRW.

SRW pretty much is a glorious strategy game about mecha robots, it's story being a crossover fanfiction of it and managing to be awesome through.
Oh and it has tons of robots, good old classics like Mazinger Z, Getter robo, or stuff like Gundam. Namco x Capcom was fun also. |

I can't agree with that picture. I think there are other IP's with much higher priority than some of those there. Not to mention they're not all series' that western audiences can recognize very well if this game gets localized. Hell I've never even heard of Cyberbots, Yumeria and Dynamite Cop, and 7 others I haven't even played before.
Probably just wishful thinking on someone's part.

Anyway, the teaser site has updated and there's a new 6th chromosome added to each company's petri dish and a new post-it note. (Which is asking a question I think since there's a "?" at the end.) Also there will apparently be a big announcement, likely a full-blown unveiling, regarding this game on April 9th. I am quite anxious now.~

No you're not seeing things. The site has updated with a 7th chromosome in each dish now.
Plus 2 other notes. One of which I can actually read: "2+1=1?" Oh goodie. Math. My mortal foe.

New information on the game now.
PS - I have gotten suggestions from other sites that 2+1=1 is an indication that you can get two skills and add them onto one character. So far...
