Does Nyarlathothep ever use powers? Hastur and Cthugha use their mythos abilities like wind and fire, but all I've seen her use are a crowbar, grenades, and a parody henshin transformation.
Side note - If she's over 25, then her relationship with Mahiro would look odd to some.

I guess I can understand Mahiro being hesitant:
1. She admits herself that she's Nyarlathotep and take into account that Mahiro's an H.P Lovecraft book reader. He's probably still got mental images of her looking like a bunch of writhing tentacles (She herself confirmed she really looked like that). Kinda like a reverse Saya no Uta. 2. Her reason for falling in love was "He looks my type". If the practically immortal lifespan thing is taken into consideration, then what will happen when Mahiro grows old and loses his young looks? Does Nyarko ditch him once she finds somebody else who's "just her type"? 3. He's understandably wary of how dating a Cosmic Horror can break his mind.

It's not much but she did easily fend off that death laser by immediately setting up a protective barrier. Its defensive values must be great. Otherwise I'm not familiar with Lovecraft, what kind of powers is she supposed to have based on the mythos?

None really apply to Nyarko though, but at the very least she has something on the level of some Kamen Riders.

Considering the fact that Cthulhu, who's way lower in rank than Nyarlathothep, can destroy cities and kill people with a flick of a tentacle, I'm guessing Nyar's stronger. Sill, I'm just wondering since she doesn't seem superhuman at all to the untrained eye, merely a girl who's acrobatic with a crowbar.

Just laughing at how those two are probably still frozen in the park even going into the next day. Probably back to normal next week, but would be funny if they only snap out of it then .

But yes, some wonderful satire on the whole "Won't somebody think of the children" malarkey that goes on from the powers that be. |

It is a fact that selfcest is the ultimate fantasy of any person alive since we're all autophiliacs. I honestly don't believe that puny bit of SAN loss will make any difference at this stage.
Also, we do think of the children! A lot! *snap* Excuse me, that was my bear trap going off. Brb
