I'm surprised there was not much discussion in this thread. I thought the series was very good, although some of the plot lacked explanation. Overall, it was suspenseful and entertaining. However, I do admit that it took me almost a year until I finally saw it. I guess it was because I was not in the mood for dark anime during that time period.

Seeing that it had very little discussion here, I'm guessing that the anime is not as popular in Japan. That probably means that there will not be a season 2, which is unfortunate. This had the potential to be a really good, long running series, with its Batman meets Guyver approach.

It was one of the worst selling show last year (which is not surprising given how terrible an adaptation that was), so yeah, no second season. If you really liked it, you can just read the manga.
