What about the other multiple instances where Quenser was basically sent to the battlefield together with the normal soldier? What's the difference beyween him and Heivia in those situation beside their title and skill set?

skill set and their title are indeed different but from the pov of nobles in the home country and their boss. Quenser is a soldier or treated as a soldier just like Hevia. Even Though Quenser shouldn't be a soldier.

Just got around and finished vol 5. I find it quite odd to see someone as young as her to be so experienced in the battlefield (and an ace at that too). But considering how the war is right now, I guess it's not that weird to see someone like that.

I mean, she came from a place where a war is fought without an object so it's no wonder that she seems more experienced in fighting.

All in all though, somehow I enjoyed this volume more than the other. It's a shame that there's no mention about Quaser/Helvia in this volume

..oh and is it just me, but why do I feel that the characters in this volume was what Kamachi wanted to be the main characters before coming up with Quaser and Helvia?

I see.. but really, I don't know why but I got the feeling that those characters were meant to be the original protagonist somewhat.

Oh and I've just finished vol 6. I knew by looking at the old guy illustrations that he would have some connections with the princess. I mean, his design really fits the old ruff guy that really cares about his daughter

It's bad for Froleytia though since she's forced to keep them in her unit

Which reminds me, I bought the second volume of Heavy Object S.

In addition to the mech porn, it also has quite the plethora of gunporn.

Heivia in particular was carrying a heavily modded M4 (or a variant), and on another chapter he's carrying loads and loads of them. His personal sidearm seems to be a Desert Eagle.

Seems the part where Quenser deals with Miss Ohoho will be for the next volume though.

Speaking of the manga variant's I love how both versions are drawn by hentai guys rofl. First was the majikoi manga guy. Second one I don't know him as well.

A lot of hentai manga artists are starting to switch to the mainstream these days, so I'm not surprised much. But damn, the new one's style is as delicious, if not better, than the previous one the Majikoi guy did.

Well I don't mind when they do the art. I just have problems when they do a story. It tends to become stagnant midway, they don't know how to end it or they'll stop writing the series altogether and it stays unfinished.

I didn't read it. Well at least I didn't read S. You can probably find the chinese version lying around somewhere. They practically do everything. I mean majority of the raws come from china anyway. My quirks with chinese translation is its emphasis on speed not quality therefore there have a lot of transition issues. Not to mention certain runes clash with certain characters. I'll use a example. There are no devils in china. You got demons though. So if you took something like DxD they'd be called demons instead of devils. And than you have the simplified and traditional versions... talk about a headache. For people wondering why eng scans take so long? Especially like why is souma so slow? They take time to clean, redraw and typeset.
