I'll echo the sentiment of others in this thread by also being saddened that it's ending so soon.

I tried to do my part and bought all the books, I just hope he decided to end it because it felt right for him and not because it got axed.

Totsuki-san just felt it was at a good point to end it, so he ended it.

The author was satisfied with that ending.

so it wasn't do to lack of popularity, and it is one of few stories that end when the author want and not the publisher, thats good

@Yami : yes, it's was done quite good regarding closing the hole in the story. But then again, it might be because it only have 5 vols so far so there is not many problem needed to be resolved to begin with.

Well, ending it is okay unlike some series that went on and on without a proper conclusion and had no more materials for milking. Fiction should give us only a glimpse of the protagonist's most important part of his life, not his whole life from birth till death.
