While I've had an interest in anime for years, it wasn't until a few months ago that I really got into it and now it's pretty much replaced all the gaming I used to do (which was a lot). I tend to be quite shy, so hopefully I can break through that and actually join in on the posting.

Eek, I spend too much time on the anime forums; this is my first visit to the general boards.

The name's Donald; Minorou has been my 'internet identity' for years. I've been a video-gaming otaku for a long while now. Just a few months ago, I've recently been curious about anime. It wasn't long before I became hooked... so I've been watching several series when I found this site. After lurking the forums a bit, I signed up. I look forward to being part of the community!

But... now I'm really curious about what suki means. I guess I'll have to search for that answer elsewhere.

Oh, I may mention that I picked up the habit of using a lot of emoticons; I hope that doesn't annoy people...
