If Fuhai really wanted to do something interesting he'd just seal up Akua then let the others bash her around after Moka explains a few things to her. And make it an unbreakable one that if Akua tries to break it, it will take all her power, and make her weak for the remainder of her life.

Even though I agree with you ... that Tsukune and the girls should get back to the action soon ... I don't think they will have something to do in the current arc ... when it comes to the matter of the confrontation with Akua of course.

After all ... with a young Tohou Fuhai appearing on the scene ... it's pretty evident that Akua hasn't got a chance of winning against him, so it's not like Tsukune and the others have some role to play ... in this particular part of the current arc.

.... but there is still the matter of the repair of Moka's seal, where some pretty interesting developments might occur, especially between Tsukune and Moka, who's "relationship" has a pretty high impact on the state of Moka's seal.

So even if the matter of Akua is probably going to be resolved soon, the arc is still not going to be finished yet ... since there will be still the matter of Moka's seal ... that would need to be resolved in the current arc and that matte,r is probably going to need some time too ... especially since, there are still some matters that would need to be resolved first, ... I mean the aftermath of Akua's "visit" to the Wong family mansion ... where, it's probably going to be revealed ... what actually happened to Fong Fong's parents and the rest of the Wong family ... that had the unfortunate luck of encountering Akua ...

Well, so far there is nothing suggesting, that she will be even capable of doing that, but we have to wait until the matter with Akua is finished, before we will be able to confirm that ... but at the current point I find it unlikely ... that Moka and Tsukune will have a role to play in the confrontation against Akua ... simply, because Moka as well as Tsukune, probably aren't strong enough to be able to fight against Akua properly.

After all, judging from chapter 36 the dimensional sword is a pretty serious technique that, at the current point ... both Moka and Tsukune would have a hard time to beat ... without their Shinso power's ... and Ikeda probably decided that it is still too early for Tsukune's or Moka's Shinso power to awaken, which is why I think that it will be the young form of Tohou Fuhai that is going to deal with Akua ...

I'm starting to think that we will be seeing another training arc, after the current arc finishes ... though that depends on how the situation with the egg in the Frost Tree at the Yuki Onna village is going to be developed ... since it might be possible that, just as the current arc will end ... we will immediately be trust into another ... pretty serious arc, without any "filler content" between them ...

Now that Touhou has takin control of the situation, he will be able to repair the damage done by Akuha to the Wong family, starting by fixing Ling-Ling.

As for Akuha, she most likely be questioning Touhou, on where her sister is. but he will probably try to reassure Akuha that she is safe, of course, which she is.

But i don't think Akuha will give up so easily, she will probably be willing to fight him, to get to her sister, but i can imagine Touhou denying the fight, i see him as someone who will try to reason with Akuha rather than fighting her, yes, seeing as this is unlikely, but i believe it can be done, Akasha has proved this, but if he were to, he would have to let Akuha know the full situation, by saying that, im interesting in what Touhou and Akuha are going to discuss, rather than seeing a fight.

Well, while it's a possibility that ... somehow things are going to turn out into a discussion between Akua and Tohou Fuhai, currently I find that possibility being pretty low, after all the expression that Akua made when Tohou Fuhai appeared ... wasn't displaying a desire to talk things over, but rather an expression of someone, who'd deal with anyone getting in his way.

Unfortunately at this point ... we're unable to verify whose suggestion is the more correct one, but maybe the translated chapter 36 (which haven't been released yet) is going to give us some more hints about, how the plot of this arc is going to proceed ... in the next chapter.

LOL ... well personally I would have a bit of mismatched feelings about this ... so called "filler" chapter's ... while I wouldn't probably mind one or two lighter chapter's ... to relax a bit from all the seriousness that the current arc brought ... I would be pretty pissed if it was something like what happened between Sun's arc ... and the current arc, where nearly an entire volume was spent on "filler" content.

I mean I enjoy the manga much better if things are getting serious ... and usually don't mind 1 - 2 chapter's contained with some "lighter" content as a breather from all the action ... but,what happened in the period between chapter 22 and chapter 27 is a little too much for me ... and I think, that I would like to avoid a repeat of something like that.

That also proves that the fighting has yet to conclude, though while a fight between Moka and Akuha might break out, im really hoping that the 2 sisters can really make-up with eachother, while Akuha truly cares for her sisters, and at the same time have a brutal nature, i really don't wanna see anything bad happen to her either, but i think Touhou Fuhai will know what to do.

That Omake, is happy and at the same time, yet sad.
