I guess the author decided to speed things up immensely by removing Ajimu's five remaining screws save the last one. It'd be a tense development if not for the simple fact Ajimu still has no personal incentive to pick a fight with the main cast. Something still needs to happen to force her to change her mind.

My guess is the screw will come off during the upcoming climax with Zenkichi. Since Zenkichi never walks away from a fight unscathed, a full-powered Ajimu would be a convenient plot device so Zenkichi won't end up permanently cripplied as once before, e.g. vs Kumagawa.

TBF that was the only time Zen ended up permanently croippled because Kumagawa was a git, against Medaka II he seemed fine and most characters out there don't tend to actually cripple thier opponoents...

-vs Akune: Gets slammed in the ground 9 times.
-vs Munakata: Gets pincushioned six different places.
-vs Medaka II: Gets the shit beaten out of him and nearly strangled to death.
-vs Kumagawa: Gets his eyesight permanently stolen.
-vs Mukae: Gets turned into a whack-the-mole for Mukae's plants.
-vs Medaka Round II: Gets the shit beaten out of him again, his relationship torn to shreds, and 6 months of work gardening the place ruined.

Is that a record to be proud of? No.

Your also forgetting two important things: (1) Medaka is slowly but surely losing what little sanity she retains and (2) has undergone yet another major power-up. Obviously Medaka's psyche will continue to deteriorate (hint: Ajimu's nebulous comments on Medaka killing her guardian) and Zenkichi walking away from her in a future fight unscathed is improbable. At that point the only characters that could stop a rampaging Medaka save Zenkichi are Hanten and Ajimu (the more probable choice btw).

Yeah but he got up and walked away in practically all of those (which means they were practically nothing in shounen terms). By that metric pre-Zen battle Medaka always got hammered. That shit's pretty standard for most shounen main characters. In fact the only time their not is their showing of a new ability or "growth". Hence why I don't considered that "hammered". The only real times where the recent Medaka and Kumagwa. The rest were standard battle injuries.

Eh, Zenkichi's not manipulating anybody. Telling Kikaijima to speak up about her feelings is just paralleling his personal goal.

Its funny casual clothes doesnt fit medaka at all lol her sizes are too extreme , i think that might be the reason why she wore that baggy clothes . On the other hand my sweet ajimu looks cool whatever she wores i dont know why but i like ajimu much much more then medaka .

OK......Ajimu has lost all but one of the Book Maker screws that're keeping her sealed. Also nice to see Kamome out in the audience

I feel sorry for Mogana, because no matter how hard she screams, her words will only reach Medaka's ears, not her heart. If she couldn't understand that Zenkichi lost a fight to her when she was weaker than him because he didn't actually want to fight her in the first place and held back, then I don't think screaming at her will get through.

It's going to take something pretty big to make Medaka realize that's she's been wrong and just what she's wrong about. Medaka's grip on her ideals, and her sanity, is slipping, it seems more like she's more interested in fighting than helping. That now helping people and making them happy is just something to do in between the fighting. Now that Zen is her enemy, her chance for victory is flawed. Because there's no one to help, there's no one to make happy. Losing to her wouldn't accomplish either of those things in any way, but that hasn't even registered to her, she just wants to fight him. And not even for his sake, but for her's. She's becoming more and more selfish as the manga progresses, and this is even after she took Zen's loyalty for granted.

Maybe Zen has the right idea.Without Zen beside her Medaka is changing, and those changes are going to affect the opinions of the students of Hakoniwa. Only half the school bothered to vote in the election, and most of them were Specials. Plus, some of them only voted for Medaka because Zenkichi was helping her. The Abnormals and Minuses probably wouldn't vote for her either. If Zen gets 100% of the votes from the entire school, if he's backed by the entire school without so much as a single vote for Medaka, it just might sink in that, thanks to her ways, she's isolated herself all over again

Well we should understand medaka too cause from her pont of view all the world is like stupid children who cant do simplest things and that bores her , anyody would be bored if they are in a kindergarden all the time . Also there is nothing like i cant in medakas life so she doesnt understand people who try but fail cause she never failed once . In the end medaka who has everything doesnt have the ability to undertand losers of this world , thats her way of living i dont feel sad for her . In my eyes ajimu and medaka also their goals arent so different , they are like opposite sides of one coin .
