Yeah.

X is the Dragon/Fire black Charizard.

Y is the Fire/Flying Orange Charizard.

Y is more useful I say because of Drought.

Meanwhile, X's Tough Claws last forever. It can also take advantage of Dragon Dance or Swords Dance, and has a better Attack stat and typing to better take advantage of its movepool.

I have a truckload of adamant mudkips, though. As well as a few modest snivys with Glare.

I'd wonder why Charizard X would have Rock Slide, since it doesn't gain Tough Claws bonus and Earthquake/Brick Break provide much better coverage. Then again, I saw one with Outrage/DD/Flareblitz/Fly.

Probably an in-game Fly user. I often use my Scizor in online battles, but I also use it as my main catch helper in-game, so it's going back and forth between Aerial Ace and False Swipe, and it is a pain, so of course, I've forgotten to change it more than once.

In Rated Battles in X/Y you only take like 3 Pokemon in 1 vs 1 battles. Drought lasts more than long enough in Nintendo's system due to less Pokemon being around.

No, I'd expect a coherent argument that supports the use of Rock Slide over any of the other standard Earthquake, Brick Break, Thunder Punch, or Roost options. The only thing it seems to offer is literally "my Charizard can beat your Charizard", whereas each of the other 4 are better in every other scenario.

Well, I don't think Roost is an option, since Mega-ing Charizard means it is offensive.
Also, Rock Slide is not completely invalid, as it is the most efficient way to hit certain typing, such as Fire/Flying. Also, there are Fire Pokemon that use Balloon.

It can be offensive without being brittle. MegaCharizard is one bulky mother effer. One of his better movesets is Dragon Claw/Fire Blitz (or Flare blitz... whichever the strong one is)/Will o Wisp/Roost, with an appropriate EV spread.

So basically you can hit other Charizards? And the rare Arcanine that either Intimidated you, thus allowing Fire Blitz to do more damage than Rock Slide, or didn't and thus Dragon Claw is still a perfectly viable move that doesn't screw up your matchups against everything else? The only other highly used Fire types that you'd really need coverage for are neutral to rock anyway (ie: Heatran).

The japanese transfered their pokemon before the bank went down, so now all the starters are up for grabs. As a matter of fact, I have a female treecko with unburden and an adamant turtwig with battle armor. Still missing a piplup with defiant, though.

And Moltres and Tallonflame. Don't think Moltres is used anymore than Charizard, but that damn Tallonflame is everywhere (and I enjoy sending my Tyranitar against its Brave Bird and by laying Stealth Rock, Brave Bird Recoil + BB Life Orb + Sand + U-Turn Life Orb will allow it to faint the next time it comes out).

I have no idea what you are trying to say. Thus? By using thus, you are implying that Intimidate somehow only affects Rock Slide and not Blitz.
I never said Dragon Claw was not viable.
And I didn't mention Heatran because Brick Break was mentioned earlier.
