Cathy and Ozma because it's obvious that those two still have the hots for each other.

Finally, Klan Klan and Mikhail because I quite simply ADORE the osana-najimi archetype (see title). Things on Klan Klan's end is pretty obvious, and Mikhail for me has shown enough signs that he too likes Klan Klan. One, he goes for older women, and two, during the time when he was thinking about the women in Alto's life, Klan Klan mysteriously appears out of nowhere for no good reason. Unconsciously in love, anyone? XD

Actually I take Michel's constant flirting as frustration at not being to be with the person he really loves. I see it as an act to hide his real feelings of loneliness. There's no way I could love him as much as Sheryl if he was really a flirty character.

I dont think Michael and Klan can work out. It's not possible, their 2 different species.

Being different species has never been much of a problem in Macross. It's the size issue that I think is the problem. Unless Klan can miclone properly I don't them as ever being to get together.

I get the feeling if he could, he would. Even if it was for only during personal time with her. But so far we haven't seen him macronize so far and there definately seems to be attraction to each other, so I would have thought he would of if he could.

Yeah, and now Zero/LuLu is also on the list.

It would appear that female readers of Animage have a short memory though. After all, I suspect Zero is based on another similar character, Reinhard, from the Legend of the Galactic Heroes novels published decades ago.

How? Lets see, aside from the calm demeanor with occasion burst of anger especially when the matter is in regards to his sister, Lulu also likes chess. Never mind they are gifted strategists and exercise the same tone of speech at all times.

As much as I love CG, Lulu to me is just Reinhard with supernatural powers, meh.

Just as well, Sheryl is almost TWICE as popular as Alto. Alto has 50, and Sheryl has 97.

Generally in a Favorite Character(s) poll the main character is the most popular. But lately around here the most popular female character has been skyrocketing. I think C.C. was more popular than Lelouch in the Code Geass poll. But I could be wrong.
At the least, Ranka still isn't as popular as either Alto, or Klan Klan. When she fixes her crappy hairstyle I'll start to like her. <_<

nobody likes Alto or Lelouch. They both think they're all that, which is a phail on polls. Every1 likes Sheryl cuz Sheryl is an original character, gives hopes and dreams, and sings well.
