Niche stuff usually gets their airtime at night. Still, the action is so absurd, we'll laugh at people who take it seriously.

Thos who still have a JP PS2 should get the game. Playing it now has a whole new meaning.

Hell yeah, I can imagine them in the recording studio hashing it out.
The recording studio must be cracking up after seeing their results in each episode.

Oh and, I love how the whole "OYAKATA-SAMA!!!" and "YUKIMURA!!!" thing has turned into a full-fledged marketing tactic (see the ad for the dvd of volume 1).

The chap in charge of recording the dialogue must be on drugs. I can't imagine anyone NOT bursting out in laughter with that kind of dialogue being recorded.

Agreed xD

Especially Kazuya Nakai and Souichiro Hoshi though, as some of the absolutely greatest moments come from when they're yelling engrish battle cries.

This is probably the guy you're talking about. He looks a little out of it too!
Sengoku Basara's sound director...

I can't wait for the OP single to come out.

On Hoshi-san, kudos to him. After a rather heavy dose of his "less manly" roles (Yashamaru, Kazuki, JC Yamato), Yukimura just comes as a breath of fresh air.

Heck! It's more like a full hurricane of fresh air.

True, but for a late night anime this gets MUCH better coverage, prolly most major cities in the largest regions prolly are showing it at some god awful hour. Prolly due to being based off of super popular vidya game.

Anyways, the TBS/CBC footage disreprency makes NO sense seeing as how CBC airs the show earlier in the week and they have the TIGHTER drawn footage, not that there was anything really wrong with the TBS footage, but CBC had better clean up. Wierd.

Anyways I am loving this show, NEED MORE KASUGA AND NOUHIME!

To be honest, I've never played Sengoku Basara, but I've played Samurai Warriors, which got me hooked up to the anime because the summary says "close to dynasty warriors".

I'm glad I tried this anime as its seriously AWESOME. Screw the logic and seriousness.

Even if this series had absolutely no connection to history, I'd watch it. BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME. GRAAAH!

OYAKATA-SAMA!

(I'm more for Kenshin, though... Kasuga's just too hot to ignore.)

Episode 2 had some next level S#$%^ going on i loved it. Nobunaga finally makes his move and as predicted everyone was pretty much in awe. I was wondering how they would portray Nouhime they did a good job she is freakin hawt in SW she is portrayed as having heart as dark and Nobunaga. But dark chicks are hawt in my book lol

I had a feeling we were going to see Fuma this time around. But i was highly disappointed as the fight was very short but i must admit he looked bad ass. As a matter a fact i just love the Character animation for everyone.

Yukimura and Date these 2 would probably fight till the world came to an end if they would stop getting interrupted LOL.

KASUGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hot ninja girl that cums just from the touch her master sounds ok to me.

Screw history and logic i dont care at this point its just so much fun to watch.

The last few minutes of this episode was friggen epic and had me in total goosebumps, it definatly looks as if Oda Nobunaga is going to be an awesome villain. Lot's of good battles and some advance in the storyline here, I am really enjoying this series very, very much. I hope they sub episode 3 soon!!!! Kasuga's outfit was total fan service, lol, but it held my attention, especially early in the episode, and it looks like she and Sarutobi Sasuke have some unsettled business, or they have some kind of a backstory together. Episode 3 should shed some light on a lot of topics
