Can't we just have a (limited) "Contest" forum for all this? The ones in fan creation barely even get used.

Would make it easier for everyone to see contest threads. Sure everyone knows SotM but we've had things like drawing contests that just barely even got noticed after they were over let alone while they were on. This would also aliviate the need for so many constant announcements on every forum for things like the current banner contest.

And yes I know it's been suggested before, but not as just a dump for all the threads we already have.

We'll take the feedback under advisement. There was indeed some question about whether the right place to host the contest was this time, and there are other contests as you say, so there may be some merit in this proposal (or in an alternate similar approach). We'll discuss it.
