I also thought the Hebrew name for Shana was "Pretty"

Vairocana is commonly worshipped throughout Asia. Not very surprising actually. It is a good name to boot.

LOL. True. How different would it be if someone else had the Reiji Maigo. because of Yuji's personality, he acted that way. Imagine say, it went to Ike. Conjure your thoughts upon this?

Ahmm I'm pretty sure that the story would have been completely different, since thanks to Yuji, Misaki wasn't destroyed (his plan at the Friagne's fight of activating the Fuzetsu), so it would have been a dark-like story.

I finally got some Light Novels of SnS on my hands, are just the first volumes but I'm satisfield for now, its even on my natal lenguage (spanish) so it's even easier to read Anyways, I just wondered two things by reading the volume III: How old was Shana when she became a Flame Haze and since when she is one? I always knew she was quite young, but never thought that so much as Yuji says

As I know, Yuji is 15 years old and almost in every story anime, the girl is 1-2 years younger, so it could fit. Then to this part:

Sorry for the awful traslation And as Shana didn't controlled her power before meeting Yuji, considering that she was still "new" to it, I can say that is not so long since she got them. What do you guys think?

She does have the physique of a younger 12-13 years old girl, so perhaps she got her power 2 years ago? Seems plausible...

I feel like this discussion is repeating for the 3rd time but Shana became a Flame Haze during the time Hong Kong became a bustling city. So it should not have been a long time difference depending on the anime time set. Shana became a Flame Haze somewhere between 11 years old. So it would have been 3-4 years before she finally came to the anime. So yes, she is somewhere near Yuji's age o.o

Yes it does, since they never announced Shana's age, it becomes a repeating topic from time to time.

So how old is Margery? and Sydoney? and Bel-peol? and doesn't age mean how long you've been alive? So even if Shana looks like a 12 year old or something, because she was around when Hong Kong was growing, doesn't it mean she is like 50 or something?

Sydonay and Bel-Peol is a few thousands years old, they were around when SoF was sealed into the Void. Margery is about a few hundred years old at least IIRC from the novels.

Wasn't Margery around in the 1400-1500 years? I just ask since I never got so much information about her.

I remembered that there is an episode (I forgot the episode sorry..) wherein a flashback scene about Margery and in that scene it seems like she's in the Medieval age.....

She(Shana) was rescued and picked up by Wilhelmina Carmel and Shiro when she was an infant. She was then raised and trained in Tendoukyuu. Alastor stated that she is "The Great One", destined to be a very majestic figure when she grows up (if she didn't get involved with Crimson Realm beforehand). After the destruction of the Tendoukyuu, she separates ways from Wilhelmina in Hong Kong, with the latter's intentions of allowing her to learn on her own as a Flame Haze.
