Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll announce a new season of anime like they did with the Sailor Moon reboot at their anniversary event... ...Although I noticed something that worries and scares me. The bluray rerelease is called "All Stories" ...."All" .......No. .........................No.

Sadly, such is the life of a FMP fan...
I think that franchise should officially be plagued in the "Duke Nukem forever" territory of anime sequels, if it hadn't been already. It's been 8 bloody years already since the previous anime, and this 15th anniversary year might have been the best opportunity in a long time, considering the overall story has been finished for 3 years. Oh well I guess. My only hope is to hear something that even remotely resembles good news from this fan event in september, but damn is it ever so hard to stay hopeful nowadays. |

That Gatoh said there's something anticipated to be announced 2013+ is all that's keeping me from losing all hope. I question how long I can wait though. If nothing is announced this September, then I might finally stop caring. If it eventually comes, then yay. No sense in getting crushed every time something is teased.

Actually, more or less, I've already moved on since hearing this "big news" is some s**tty exposition/event/whatever in Tokyo. I mean really? This is what is considered big announcemnt nowadays? Anyway, chances that an anime announcement is made at this event are about as big as winning the lottery so... But, on the good side, we'll always have the novels, and if Baka-Tsuki starts translating Another, it's even better, though I doubt Another will be as good as the original FMP. |

Sigma final volume comes out September 20th D: It's all over...
Well. FMP!0 v.1 comes out also September 20th (meh, but I'll probably pick it up anyways...) ...and FMP!Another v.6 ALSO on Sept. 20th. So I guess it isn't really over, but... it's over. Unless we get more anime.

I finally got around to watching all of Full Metal Panic this week. Now I see why a lot of my friends recommended it to me. High school romantic comedy with mecha action is a great combination for a show. I skimmed the last few pages of this thread and was wondering what is happening in September?
