In fact, they're not even remotely similar, apart from the fact that both are crossovers of different mecha series.

There might be some interest from people here, so what the heck.

One big change for "Senjou no Kizuna" players in Japan coming out in December will be the release of version 2.01 of the game. Aside from the creation of a third class for players (A - taishou/general to taisa/colonel. B - chousa/lieutenant colonel to shouii/second lieutenant. C - souchou/master sargent to minkanjin/civilian.) to try and match players of different abilities better, a few of the changes will be:

* New controls. (Ugh.)
* The move of mobile suits into different classes. The RX-78-2 Gundam becomes a "shot" type (based on the current "med-range support type"), for example.
* The introduction of new mobile suits. The atwiki is listing: The White Dingo type and GM Custom for EFSF. HM Zaku - Black Tristar (R-1A), Rick Dom and, at long last, Gelgoog (J) for Zeon.
* With the new space-only mobile suits come the new field type. On-line PvP space battles look to now be possible. (I'm kind of hoping that it won't be pure space since I can get seasick pretty easily... ) How they are going to simulate a missile launch from something like a GP-02A (MLRS) in space might be interesting to see, IMHO.

Sources (Japanese only): Atwiki and "Impress" article

It seems like the "Gundam Cardbuilder" arcade game had done awhile ago, this one is moving into the 0083 (Stardust Memory) part of the UC universe.
Spoiler for EFSF mobile suits:

Spoiler for Zeon mobile suits:

I don't think Heavyarms realy fits in a Musou game. The other three however fit perfectly.

Gundam X is the only main series (well, except 00, but it is still new) that is not included in Musou 2 yet...there's no reason they should skip this...

They will probably use Double X, the final upgrade

But personally I wish it will be the regular X though

Although I would love the original X or the Divider, I don't think anything can outmatch the satisfaction of shooting two satellite canons in a Musou game.

I don't know, I was pretty satisfied with a Gundam hammer, but I'm easily amused it seems.

Two of my favorite Gundams appear. I mean, I was going to get the game anyway, but now I can't wait.

So what are the release dates again?

Gundam Meisters : Oct 16th
Gundam Musou 2 : November
Gundam vs Gundam (PSP) : December

The last time I checked there were no specific dates for each just the month.

I guess we are getting a fair amount of Gundam games Macross Ace Frontier coming out on the 9th also has me all worked up

Not for a two week delay. More time for bug squishing, perhaps, but not content, it should be content locked in a month or so, if it isn't already.
