For those of you about to read volume 3, I'm curious to know if you find Nanami more annoying in this book than the Anime.

I've posted a long time ago when I first read it- this was around the time that Nanami made her full appearance at Sakurasou Anime- That those who do not like her, would not have any reason to change their minds, this was after I read chapter 1.

Yea, people who called her best girl and what not should direct their attention to that volume. Opinion of her shot down even more after reading that volume.

This is another scene I want to see get adapted with the other being the ending of vol 8. So at the end of vol 7 Mashiro confessed to Sorata, then at the end of vol 8 Sorata finally confessed to Mashiro and they kissed for the first time, and at the end of vol 9 Sorata and Mashiro were getting intimate on bed. So what's gonna happen to the two of them at the end of vol 10? I think it's gonna be very big one since it will be the final volume.

I wonder who the red bean rice is for? I don't think it's for what Sorata and Mashiro just did at the end of vol 9 because Misaki would make red bean rice immediately after or the next day instead of few days later. If vol 10 starts on the day after the end of vol 9 then something will happen in vol 10 which requires red bean rice to be made. If it's for Misaki then Jin probably will be back in the final volume, though I don't think she would make the red bean rice if it's for herself. Most likely Misaki is making it for another girl and I'm guessing it's Mashiro. So I guess we might be able to see "something" between Sorata and Mashiro in the final volume and I am also looking forward to how the series will finally end.

I have the age old dilemma of wanting to see a proper closure while not wanting the series to end. I do find the novel to be decently paced though.

Actually If you include the side story volumes then the novels are released at the rate of 3 volumes per year. A new volume is released every 4 months on average so we can expect vol10 to be released in July, or in June if we're lucky.
