That's just Tsuna's luck...at least the mangaka eludes the cliche of "come alone, get beat up, your buddies arrive and the bad guys go down". This arc will be critical for Tsuna's own development as a character, could very well be the last arc of Reborn!.

wow! It appears from the implication that Vongola has done something awful to the Shimon family (how long ago I wonder. Primo's time?) and Enma is here to take revenge. Except Enma has a change of heart but something so silly as a gust of wind is gonna pit him against Tsuna!!

and I'm guessing here that they'll end up fighting and Tsuna WILL BECOME the Vongola boss promising Enma he will change the mafia world. Enma will be pivotal to Tsuna's decision in taking up the job. uhh.. I can just so see this coming!

What a silly test. I've never really liked stories where simple misunderstandings or small accidents result in catastrophic events (yes wars have been fought over miscommunication, but at least the War of 1812 had the excuse of a multiple month delay between communication, whereas Enma is just going to assume that Tsuna doesn't care (which is ludicrous just based on the info he has on Tsuna right now) or he's going to see the letter in the trash and still assume the worst (it probably won't matter that the letter is clearly still sealed). I guess Tsuna and company will have to beat some sense into everyone...

Yama gets stabbed but it more looks like gutted by Kaoru. Tsuna rejects succession (duh). Someone better take out Kaoru for this but I have a feeling itll take a while.

@james, I agree it was obvious from the setup what was gonna happen fron 292 which probably led to what happened in 293. Enma just assumed Tsuna wasnt coming, didnt weigh in everything else but considering Enma personality I totally see why he figure Tsuna wasnt coming.

I totally didn't see it coming.... the Yamamoto being slashed part. But it surely did start the war that would see Tsuna coming to the rescue and becoming the big boss to right the Vongola wrong. Fingers-crossed for seeing my prediction come true.

After seeing Yama in the hospital Tsuna decides to accept the Vongola inheritance. Wow changed his mind quick didnt he.

uh... that's true too.

well, I doubt Tsuna would accept the boss position just to catch the culprit. Attending the ceremony is just a convenient way to make the culprit show himself. As I said before, this sin business and Shimon family will be the deciding factors in Tsuna accepting the boss position with resolve.

I do have a feeling Reborn suspects their involvement, he's been wary of them since they arrived. I think that was one of the reasons he asked them to leave the hospital room, plus what he talked about was pretty much only for the Vongola.

Wonder if anyone else will be attacked either at or after the ceremony?

for sure but if the Shimon family attacks during the ceremony, they'd have to show themselves! the bigger problem is are they allied with any other families? I'm a bit disappointed at how incompetent Vongola's allies are though....

So maybe Adelheid didnt do it but that just seems to weird. Unless Reborn is trying to throw them off. Hibari is pissed that a student was attack on his turf Oh Hibari~~ Varia is back minus Xanxus and LONGCHAMP IS BACK!

I wasnt surprised at all the Dino and Squallo figured out it wasnt the real Yama, hopefully the Shimon wont. Adelheid's look when Kaoru talked to fake!Yama was kinda weird.
Longchamp was WAAAAAAAAY back in the Daily Life arc, its been 200+chaps since we've seen him XD

'twas a very good chapter. The tension was nicely built up and even though we can probably guess 80-90% of what will happen in the next few chapters, I still can't wait to see what the Shimon are really up to. Here's hoping by the end of the inheritance ceremony most of the older generations will be killed .
