Great episode. Really great ending. I loved how the to be continued was the hole in his chest. This is great. Next week is going to be awwweesome.

Every time Inoue appeared on screen, I was dreading her uttering the same...Ugh, it's really gotten under my skin that even imagining hearing her say it is enough to put me in an annoyed state.

It'll be cool to see Ichigo next episode.

One other thing that was a little underwhelming was the size of the 2nd Oscuras. I was expecting this bigass thing:

Perhaps it's just the angle...at least the first Oscuras was very sick.

yeah, the beam spam wasn't as massive, but it kinda fit the mood better.
kinda calming sad music and poof your dead. a big KERBLAM!!! death wouldn't have fit the mood they set as well.

I will admit that, this is the first episode in a very, very long time. That has truly left me speechless at the end. I mean, the wait to see the explosion was unbearable. I sort of like having it a small blast since it left a hole, not a huge hold. And I think, it if was HUGE, it would, for myself at least. be deemed as something that would destroy his entire body.

But yeah, when I saw him unleashing his power, turning black, I was having a holy !@#$ !@#@!#$ !@#!# !#!@# $!@$@# moment. I will leave what those words would be up to your imagination. Ulq was always my favorite, and I am glad to see my trust in him pay off.

P.S. Anyone else think that the moment we see Ichigo standing on that tiny little piece of land, barely able to stand, when confronted by Ulq, was simply amazing.

This is different. This time, it's a solid hole from front to back. The first time was only a wound.

It's been a long time since I said this about Bleach but... This episode was great! I loved how Inoue showed off her ninja skills at the end while Ishida being the nerd that he is fell flat on his face

She also kept running too! Ishida had to stop and smell the flowers first.

It's important to understand where Inoue is coming from here. Everyone has all of this hate but think about what it must feel like to see the person you love with all of your heart, who came you save you no less, have a hole put in their chest in front of you.

It seemed laughably out of character to me but whatever. Showing them stumble and roll really wasn't necessary for either character. They could have just as easily hit the ground running. Gotta fill up those seconds any way you can though right?
