This is definitely one of my favorite series for the season so far. I really like episode 1.

I'm glad we have a Yui-centric-ish episode. Yui is my favorite character. Also, the eyecatch with her hugging the pillow is just too cute.

To be honest, I don't think Yui is a tsundere. She is more like the tsukkomi to Kyoko's boke. Tsunderes are antagonistic towards a certain person because they stubbornly deny that they actually like them and Yui never does that. She buys rum raisin for Kyoko, cooks ramen for her without ever saying "I-it's not like I m-made it for you or anything, baka..." She's just very reserved and mature for her age and only becomes violent to keep her crazy friend in check - different from Ayano (who's plainly dishonest with herself), Himawari and Sakurako (the tsundere prototypes). And I think that having grown up together, Kyoko and Yui already know what the other one means/thinks, so when Yui said "Kyoko you're hopeless", Kyoko answered with "Thank you".

On a sidenote, I think Kagamin from Lucky Star sort of combines Ayano's and Yui's features (tsukkomi + tsundere).

Yui is definitely not a tsundere alright. Her relationship with Kyoko is a pretty realistic depiction of relationship between close childhood friends that have remained friends into teenhood ._. That is not to say there is no romantic element in their relationship but that it is a mature and long standing one. I'd say they are like a long time married couple instead

I misses the actual tsunderes but this episode was really good so no complaints :s

I was surprised Akari was actually in the pictures. Well, actually, she was only in one of them, but that's better than nothing

Yep, Chinatsu is actually pretty much the opposite of Mirakurun, the magical girl who fights for justice. She's usually all sweet and innocent in front of Yui but actually has a secret bully side - which only Akari gets to see (already foreshadowed in ep01 when Chinatsu asks Akari to enter the clubroom first only to be tackled by Kyoko) xD I bet she likes the fact that Kyoko "harrasses" her because then she can let Yui protect her although she should be able to fend her off alone :P

Excellent 3rd episode. Love Yui and Kyouko interactions.
I was starting to feel a bit of pity toward Kyouko because she is trying so hard and so unsubtly to get Chinatsu's attention she can only fail at it. But then I realized Chinatsu wasn't all that important since Yui was there and is obviously a way better match for her.

The exchange when they play that RPG was a good metaphor for how they deal with things *coflovecof*. Kyouko is the rushing kind who doesn't fear to be rejected, but Yui needs time, to be sure where she goes... Message is quite clear to me : fans will have to be really patient if they want to see those two together someday~

Funny, my personality is closer to Yui's but when it comes to RPG, I have the same playing style as Kyouko. I hate wasting time leveling up to remove challenge from the game.

Akari's plight has the makings of a doujin that's either very funny or very disturbing. Possibly both. It's tough when your enemy is the fourth wall itself.

Episode 1 is really good but episode 2 is even better. This series is becoming my top 3 favorite series of the season. Kyouko is definitely my favorite character. She's so funny. Haha. I've taken a liking to Ayano, Chitose and Himawari, too. <:
