Yagi is basically telling us now that with: Claymores the more hatred they feel then the more they come out of control becoming Mass Destruction Weapons. Toriyama in Dragon Ball told his audience over twenty years ago: Saiyans the more wrath they exert then the more their chi goes violent unlimited ascending into Mass Destruction Gods. Honestly, Claymore has lost its freshness on me, and the reason I stick up with it is because I'm too close now to the finale to call it quits at this point. However, since Priscilla has virtually ascended or even surpassed the Aizen level of insanity which she has been made into The untouchable HAXX, then it's no longer farfetch'd for me to be certain that the powers would have to turn ludicrous in order for Clare to trounce Priscilla. Or maybe Yagi is cooking up his usual style, but it will become evident until Raki enters the fray of the battlefield. For those getting their hopes high at the Heavens that Yagi will pull out a resurrection of Teresa through Clare as the proxy avatar, then you're going to fill crushed because I do not recall which interview made to Yagi, but he explicitly made himself clear that he's not going to resurrect Teresa, at least not in any physical form conceivable. |

I think Yagi meant the contradiction of hatred, as in hatred of Yoma and hatred of Yoma flesh that resides within the warriors. Clare, on the other hand, actually has a lot of love for the flesh that was inplanted in her, since it was Teresa. That could be a reason why she was so weak for so long.

Yagi is getting carried away with Priscilla's power though. The power scale has always been in favor of the ABs but now it's just crazy.

If Priscilla was a light bulb, she'd have burned out 20x over by now. Using so much power in such a short amount of time should at the very least slow her down a bit, if not leave her incapacitated. That's about the only hope that Clare and company have to stop her, unless Yagi manages to pull a big friggin' rabbit out of his hat.

Whatever misgivings I have in the direction Claymore has gone in since Pieta, I still believe that when it does eventually end, that Yagi will be ending it as a story of redemption. If "defeating" Prisc is part of the end game for the manga, than I don't really think she's going to be killed off. If defeating Prisc is just a stepping stone to Yagi coming up with an even more Aizen-like Aizen, then sure, I'm sure Claire will pull another proverbial rabbit out of her butt and power up some more.

TBF if Yagi wanted to the story to leave the island he could have done it a looong ass time ago. Those 3 awakened beings battles were in the grandscheme of things filler so it's not like the island was brimming with story potential. This whole priscilla battle could have easily been done on the mainland wth some fresh antagonists and greater. The fact it hasn't seems to imply to me he doesn't really want the story to leave the island, or he wants the story to be extremely long considering it's a monthly manga and it's well passed the 100 chapter mark (which isn't all that common).
