Aria is shoujo/josei and the contents appear to contain plenty of non-yaoi titles. (And aren't most fujoshi shoujo or josei anyway?)

It matters to me since the animation was porn. It was grand. So having this show going like No. 6 on me would be a total downer so I'm already bracing myself for it. LOL, I hate Yaoi therefore BL subtext is shitty IMO.
So you're fine with gay-themed shows so long as they aren't any good? Sorry, but the anime market includes people with different taste than you, including fujoshi and homosexuals and the LGBT friendly. There are plenty of shows that cater to your taste, so why get upset when one (possibly, maybe) caters the rest of us?

(And yes, No.6 was crap, but it was crap for reasons that had nothing to do with gay cooties.)

I wasn't saying Yaoi titles, dude. I was referring to BL SUBTEXT and not outright Yaoi. And you said plenty? That doesn't mean it's not littered with subtext AND it meant there ARE also Yaoi titles. K just happens to give me the BL vibes.

Pardon? I don't get? How'd you arrive to this question?

LOL. I am very much aware of this. Heck, I myself indulge in Yuri. But Yaoi is something that I despise with a burning passion. Huh? Why do you care if I get upset that I can't enjoy K because it has it? Why bother? To each his own, so just ignore that I hate it. I really want to watch this though.

It has something to do with it , partially, for me.

I wouldn't care less if this anime has horny pretty boys doing the choo choo train in it. But I do hope that the story isn't a total disaster and that the characters are at least bearable, because those aspects are necessary to hold my interest regardless of the gorgeous animation.

When a manga is based off of a show it doesn't matter what magazine it's in. For example there was a Cowboy Bebop manga in a shoujo magazine and at least one Evangelion spin off in a shoujo magazine but would you ever call those shoujo shows? I doubt it.

Also I'm pretty sure there's going to be a manga adaptation running in Good Afternoon (does that suddenly make it a seinen show now?) starting some time in the summer and a Kodansha box novelization in October. I don't know Japanese but I think that's what it says at the end of the first trailer?

Assigning demographic labels to original anime is futile, regardless of what manga magazine the adaptation is published in. Sure, there are some anime with obvious main demographics, such as Digimon and Precure, but a lot of the time it can be argued. I advise not to worry about whether K is shounen or shoujo and just take it for what it is.

The 100 Days x Visuals began yesterday (technically a couple days ago, but it only started updating daily as of yesterday), and today's visual features Neko! If you download the pdf and click the image inside, you'll get a short animation clip. It's not much, but at least we finally get to see Neko in animated form.

Shame there is no actual animation in the clip but we do get a much better view of her in-series design. She is cute...and hot.

The quality in the animation is too High for a TV show. Xam'd lost Memories, Dennou Coil and Mushishi are as good as you can get. It is really hard to believe, maybe some scenes are from the OP .

I highly doubt that even the majority of them are OP scenes.

You should check out Seirei no Moribito, if you haven't already.

Sure is a lot of hype for this one. Still not sure what it's about though.

I think I heard about it being about two sides.
I kinda can imagine that those flying swords in the sky is for one side each and depending on the status of one 'team' the sword changes.
We saw one of the swords crumble maybe that means that one side is losing or something?
Well, just me saying stupid stuff like always so don't mind me lol

I know about Seirei no Moribito and this project looks above that as well. Seirei no Moribito have really good visuals but the animation is very typical I.G. Production, which means that some times they are cold and boring. Dennou Coil was really amazing in terms of animation because the characters moved with a sense of weight that is really hard to see in tv shows, a lot of that is thanks to the AD Toshiyuki Inoue.

Mushishi was animated mostly in 1s and 2s when a lot of anime shows are made in 3s or more, this mean that Mushishi use mostly full animation instead of limited animation, however Mushishi is a really low-key kind of show and the animation is not in your face all the time. Xam'd Lost Memories is amazing looking, with some of the best explosions in a TV show ever. The explosion in the beginning of the 2nd episode for example is beyond incredible.

This thing looks above that in a lot of ways and it is really hard to believe. I think some stuff shown in the trailers belongs to the OP, some of it is for a pilot or something similar to that Iron Man anime trailer that Takeshi Koike made, and the parts with the worst animation are actually the real show. I 'm quite sceptical about it.

Just saw the PV and I agree with you! I also agree with all of your comments on the other Anime.

Well it wouldn't be a surprise, I remember that the Kyousogiga OVA didn't have any of the scenes (except the one with Koto falling) shown in the PV.
