I don't think Higanbana will ever have a 'Chiru' or 'Kai', because... well, there is no overarching mystery to solve. I guess Ryukishi will keep writing short stories until he's done with Higanbana. I personally appreciate a change of pace after so many years spent on Higurashi and Umineko.

Now that I think about it.....A battler tag team sounds really overpowered.

While their movesets have some differences, they're most likely to have some familiar similarities(they have the grope skill, only idk what evil battlers will do), think about it. Regenerating HP, then DRAINING hp every hit, similar Meta supers, which imo is one of the best in the game, meaning it won't take much planning to activate it, and it's like having 2 Battlers on your team....

not as cheap as having one kanon and one lucifer still.

Lucifer+nearly any team-mate= Top Tier.

Virgillia, as far as I've seen= Top Tier, but idk if she'd do well with Lucifer, never seen them teamed up before.

I use Jessica&Shannon (Attacker&Reverse) as my main team. When CROSS arrives, I'm going to practice with Dlanor and make a powerfull Defense Team (Dlanor&Shannon).

Also, it's not that difficult to win Waru's Spear. You only need to scape from them on an exactly time.

It's not a part of beating it that stops me from enjoying it, it's just, going up against in general. I like the rush and combo's and everything going on and when a Virgilia just sits at one side spamming the spear, I just lose motivation to keep playing, I don't even care if I win ._.

I know that feeling.
It's the same when the 410s starts arrow spamming,
sure you can just duck under it, but it really puts a bumber on the flow of the game.

Hmm... he's certainly up there somewhere,
no real huge strengths, but he's a very versatile character with solid moves for most situations. He's no Kanon/Lucifer though.

Battler improved ALOT since ver 1.0

-His pokes are long and way too good (gdlk 3B and necktie). Not to mention the superb gattlings, in special, 3B 6B 2C/5C 236C/B which can cover alot of ground and put him close from the farthest possible range. 5B reaches far, recovers fast and can be used to poke safely, in some cases, beats even low attacks.
-Damaging and easy to confirm into combos.
-Strings are safe, thanks to the new C Projetile hitting crouchers.
-Best anti air/reversal in the game (EX 623), requires gauge though.
-Can chip damage like hell wit EX Projectiles (not the best choice to spend meter though) or Meta-Super

Battler depends too much on meter imo, his best partners are characters who can hold themselves without it. I personally like Siesta for this.
She's a very underrated character.

Lately I favor jessica as we tend to do a lot of combo breaking so characters with good combos lose a lot of potential while jessica can be used for long-ass block strings.

I disagree. Battler is far from this. He sure has some good combos and move set, but he is an easy character to play.
The same goes to Kanon&Lucifer: This team has speed and an easy move set. Just this. When I played Ougon for the first time, I saw how Kanon and Lucifer are easy to play. And everytime I introduce Ougon to my friends, I say "This, Kanon, and this, Lucifer, are the easiest one to play with".

I don't have an opinion about who is Top Tier or God Tier character, but I believe that Ronove is a Good Tier character, if you know how to play with him.
Shannon can be a Good Tier character too, again, if you know to play with her.
