Lol national holiday for SC2 realease. BTW i had no idea that SC: Ghost took place when SC2 is suppposed to take place.
I have a question for those of you who know. Who was supposed to be the lead character in SC: Ghost? The blonde? Or is it just a random freelancer ghost making ends meet. I head it was going to be an RPG. EDIT : I forgot to mention..... SWEET!!! PROTOSS MOTHERSHIP!!! AWSOME Finnally they can kick ass!!! Last edited by marth1244; 2008-02-08 at 04:38. Reason: Forgot |

Nova of Nova Squadron to be exact I believe. She had all that cool in-testing stuff Nova Squadron has... Like that Cy-Blade or somethin'.
It looked cool but after a looooooong delay Blizzard announced the project was scrapped.

Ghost was never axed, Blizzard just chucked it on 'indefinite hold'.

I'm pretty sure that question has been answered rather early on, I'm just too lazy to dig out specifically where.
I do recall they have said that heroes-with-experience do exist. They will only be available in use map settings games. They won't be there for single player or any non use map setting games. Also, if I recall correctly, the heroes and their abilities can be customized depending on the map creator. Unfortunately, I don't know about items, but seeing the popularity DotA and how much blizzard probably wants to keep that going for SC2 as well, it's likely items are there too. |

We're talking about the map editor here. I really can't see why you'd want to limit anything in the map editor. It's not like it'll affect the gameplay, it just lets people mess around more. Personally, I'm sure I spent at least half my starcraft gametime playing people's crazy user-made maps. Like, fireworks shows where they spawn and kill masses of units to create pretty images out of their death animations, and of course all the various madness maps and rpg things and tower defense and whatnot. Why limit people's creativity? If you don't like it then don't play those maps...

Somehow it looks like Tidehunter's long lost cousin... well to me at least, WC3 and Dota players should know what I'm taking about lol =P And as for heroes and items in Starcraft 2: Quote:
