I am curious if MMA got lazier during practice because of Ganzi's and Taeja's departure. He seems out of form on Friday and today.

//Edit: I take that back, he is still doing fine atm with good map control. He was terrible on friday though.

He seems to be in form against anyone not named Marineking right now. Then again, the same can be said for everyone, although yesterday's pool play was a bit scary for any MKP fans

Yeah, he definitely toyed with Stephano like the latter was a bronze leaguer. :s

I really want to see a MMA/Nestea finals, but both have to run into their worst matchups to get to that point. The irony in this is that their opponents' (Alive and Squirtle) worst matchups are vZ (Alive) and vT (Squirtle)

Poetic justice would be Squirtle winning it all though, to soften the blow of his team's loss yesterday.

I cheered for squirtle in his game vs MKP. I am sorry MKP fans, I feel that startale deserves something out of Vegas after what happened last night...

At this point I cheer for nestea, MMA and squirtle.
Nestea was in a slump earlier this year, and was easily defeated in GSTL. Winning mini GSL IPL would signal his return.
MMA, similar to Nestea, was unable to carry his team through the teamleague: losing easily in some rather pathetic matches. Slayers has suffered from the loss of taeja and ganzi. If MMA brings home the trophy it can give his team a good moral boost.
Squirtle is shaping up to be the next big protoss. Startale, as mentioned, does not deserve to go home empty handed...

I'd have to question your claim on Squirtle being the next big Protoss. I remember Artosis hyping him up last year, and he fell off like almost all the other players who Artosis fanboys over. He fell into Code A a couple of times and even into Code B.

There was a thread about it on TL about a number of Protosses who were rising stars to replace MC/HuK as the next dominant toss. ST_Parting, SlayerS_Brown, MVP_Genius, Liquid'Hero and several others were noted along with Squirtle, although this is Squirtle's time to prove your claim right.

However, Alive and Nestea may prove too much for him. Alive didn't make it into the GSL semis for nothing. And Nestea looks like the old Nestea.

He got a little lucky on the last game with the lings out of position and broodlords morphing.

In other words, what we did not know is that NK did not fuck up their missile launch. Its only because somewhere far far away their ghost got killed.

Their poor macro couldn't afford to research cloak and the ghost got killed by a Male Ursadak.
